I like the visit to the locations pre trial or pre witness. Itll help put the evidence given into aittle better perspective.

I like the makeup of the jury.

I dont get why the need for JWs ex to be doxxed either. Anything she would have to say is all post murders. Can she really provide any more evidence than what AW and JW has provided?

To me, this isnt a complicated trial. The prosecutors have the evidence pre and post confessions from 2 of the 4 Ws. Im sure AC will keep it clean and tidy. Dont over complicate the evidence.

2 months seems like a long time but im not a prosecutor so...JMO
I think AC will keep it under control. I doubt they can outdo her on anything in court proceedings…

Just saw this pop up on twitter from another reporter. It looks like they're visiting the Peterson Rd farm that used to be the Wagners. If so, those jurors are working late tonight and must have a full day tomorrow. Very nice those people who bought the farm to make it available to LE and the court for so many searches, etc.

I think it's possible that JWs ex heard conversations post murders that might be helpful. She also can speak to the dynamic between the members of this family. I listened to the Piketon massacre and it was mentioned on there that after the wedding, Jake wanted all her passwords for her accounts. I just think her knowledge of how this family works can speak to the fact that they were all for one and one for all. George claiming he wasn't part of this or didn't go that night or only went because of Jake, etc. I think the family dynamic testimony might just show that this is a lie. They made decisions together, voted, and were basically one unit.

Agree, good points. I think she's an important witness to provide that context - someone who is an "outsider" to this enmeshed family, but who was around a long time and overheard a lot of discussions about the murders and their plans to plot revenge. She can also testify about how insular the family is, how they made decisions about each others lives, merged all their funds, worked as a tight unit, controlled each other, etc.

ETA: It's possible, IANAL, but if they could get this witness to speak to someone or say something before the trial, the defense could use it to make the judge declare a mistrial.

I believe she is already a prosecution witness. Would they also need her address then? There has to be a way to get a witness into court without disclosing the location for someone that is in fear for their life and given this case, I'd say she has a right to be afraid.
IMO, if the prosecution subpoena's her, the Court will issue and deliver it. The Court knows how to find her but also needs to protect her safety.

Apparently, GW4 stayed at the Pike County Courthouse all day and returned to the Pike County Jail around 7:58 pm. He waived his right to go with the jurors. Assume he will probably do the same tomorrow? He probably doesn't mind sitting around the courthouse all day. It's probably a change of scenery from what he's accustomed to.

Interesting talk from Vinnie on CourtTV. It sounds like someone complained to him about his coverage of GW4's murder trial, saying he should state that the Wagners are "alleged" to have been the killers. He disagrees and gives a pretty good argument that we do now know that the Wagner family killed the Rhodens and Hannah Gilley.

There is. It happened to me as a witness however the first question the prosecutor asked me was where I lived. Yep, I’m serious.

If JW and AW's proffer's implicate GW4 than I can see them not needing JW's ex. Like you said, don't drag someone onto the stand if not needed. Perhaps she WOULD be needed to affirm GW4 narrative IF it's in the proffer. IDK JMO
Elizabeth Wagner can give a chilling first hand account of the controlling and abusive nature of the Wagner family and how insular and clannish they were. Angie's obsession being called mom, controlling Elizabeth, and she's probably the female witness who heard their threats. She can collaborate things in the proffers plus add some teeth to things not said in the proffers. She can prove some of the things in the Other Acts evidence.

There are so many pieces she can put together. The defense wants to talk to her but then admits she might not want to talk to them. They say they have the right to question her neighbors and associates.

Well, Judge Deering is ruling against them.

Bottom line. She can really add some context to the Wagner's way of thinking, and to their behaviors, things about them which made it possible for them to murder and include Georgie Boy.

After all, they said she was a liability and voted her out. She knew too much and begged for her life. Now I hope she gives it right back at em on the stand.

Motion #90 the defense wants Elizabeth's address

Not surprising. Judge Deering ruled against them the last time they filed the same motion. They have quite a 3 ring circus going in the courtroom the last couple of days.

Had to smile when Fred Wagner sent in her attorneys to try to prevent the news media and others from going on her property tomorrow.

Dear Fredericka, that's what happens when your farm becomes a crime scene and your son and grandkids become mass murderers. All of a sudden the rules start applying to you, the same as they do the common folks.

I still have so many questions about Flying W Farms and its use by the killers. Its good to know we may finally hear the answers to those mysteries. A couple of reporters today mentioned that the jurors will be visiting some barns or buildings on Flying W Farm, as well as the large pond where they hid the murder weapons.

So much new information coming to light now about how the murder and cover up happened.

Fred Wagner sent in her attorneys to try to prevent the news media and others from going on her property tomorrow?

Where can I find out about this? Sent her attorneys into court?

I sure hope they do something about the audio in this courtroom before next week or this is going to be miserable to try and listen to.

I'm hoping once CourtTV is live the audio will get better. It's always been horrible up to this point. They're just using the mic on the cameras.

In the Twitter post above from Angenette Levy, there's a photo at the intersection of UHR and OH 722 where the bus stopped to show to jurors. I couldn't copy her photo from Twitter, but here's a photo of it from Google Maps. It's the brown house surrounded by trees in the center of the snap.

Not sure what it is or how its relevant to the case, but it's located at a key intersection where the Wagners would have traveled between the murder scenes on UHR and their staging area on Bethel Hill Rd, also Flying W Farms. Maybe this house had a security cam that captured video of their vehicle? We'll find out.

I tried to look at the house but the twitter link went to documents from the defense to doxx GW's ex.

You may be right that it's possibly related to security camera footage. I recall something involving that yellow house.

All just my opinion based on foggy memory.

I didn't realize the jury was going to the crime scenes starting today. Too much working for me I guess. I'm glad they are going...I think that's important for them to see how the timeline matches up to locations. Good perspective on the magnitude of the whole thing.

Been a long time since posting here! Why are the jurors touring the crime scene locations before opening arguments? I have never heard of that before. How much does everyone think will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 6? I will have to miss part of that day, so was hoping it would start on Wednesday. However, I'm really not looking forward to hearing all the aspects of the murders. It will be interesting to watch though.

I thought it was odd that it was before the trial started as well but maybe that’s to make it more unbiased? And they’ll be hearing about the scenes right away so as a point of reference?

Making these tours at the beginning seems important, IMO, because of the complicated, extensive nature of the crimes. There were many people murdered in different locations, miles apart. There were also staging areas, the Peterson Rd Farm of the 4 Wagners and Flying W Farm, where evidence was hidden. Factor in any locations along the way for eyewitnesses, evidence found, etc. it's very complex. Add in all the details about hacking social media accounts, hacking phones, etc. If they just dove into the case in court, its easy to see how jurors could become confused. JMO

In the murder trial of Emily Noble, Westerville, Ohio, that concluded last Friday with an acquittal of the husband, the "jury view" here (i.e., the residence and wooded area where the body was located) was also completed prior to the trial's opening statements.

It takes a lot of coordination and resources to conduct a jury trip. I believe that it does help to preserve the integrity of the trial to get the trip done early, but I also think it's critical today for the safety of the jurors themselves. Nobody wants some crackpot to take a notion to hunt down jurors they think might be leaning in a direction that's opposite to their own thinking! MOO
