I'm not sure if they are starting today as they are sorting out the Jury.

Sorry can't help with twitter.

I doubt there will be live coverage of the courtroom until opening statements.

I'm currently watching CourtTV live and the coverage of this case is just previously recorded clips from hearings, etc, mixed with coverage of the Murdaugh case in SC and the penalty phase trial of the Parkland school shooting in 2018.

CourtTV plans their coverage for live trials weeks in advance, I'm guessing, and have to fill air time until it really gets rolling. It was reported just a couple of minutes ago that once the jury is picked there will be a 2-day trip taking the jury to the various locations of the murders, the Wagner farm, etc before opening statements.

She wrote some great stories about the murders. She managed to get close to Angela and Jake, even following them to Alaska. She even changed one story that she wrote about them where Jake inadvertently admitted he was at Dana Rhoden's house the night of the murders. IIRC, Chris Graves quoted him as saying he barely missed being there when the killers arrived. Later, Angela had Chris Graves issue a correction to the article, stating that Jake wasn't there that night.

Apparently, JMO, she believed the Wagners lies for quite a long time, though eventually she came around. It's still disappointing to hear her repeat on national media the false information from GW4's attorneys that GW4 didn't shoot anyone the night of the murders. If CG did a thorough job of listening to the multitude of pre-trial hearings, she would know the state continues to aver that GW4 did shoot that night. An objective reporter would know the state is honoring the judge's gag order and is refusing to respond to the defense's baseless claims in the news media. An objective reporter would not claim that GW4 didn't shoot anyone that night - instead they would say "the defense says this and the state says that".

I guess you could say CG is a good writer, but I wouldn't say she's a good journalist. Not right now anyway. JMO

• Clarence “Frankie” Rhoden (age 20): Three (head). Two were “contact wounds” as indicated by soot from the gun on his skull.

Approx 7:55 am: Billy Jo Manley runs next door to trailer of Frankie Rhoden & Hannah Gilley. Door is locked, she hears toddler inside, asks him to open the door. She then discovers the bodies of Frankie & Hannah. She takes the children outside to her car.

7:15 - 7:53 am: Sometime after discovering the bodies, Billy Jo Manley calls her brother James Manley. He and his son go to the home of Dana Rhoden and discover she is dead. According to his wife, James doesn't go further into Dana's home, though he can see her legs and hear a baby crying.

8:07 am: Deputy Chandler arrived "at a neighboring residence where he was flagged down by a subject. Deputy Chandler advised that he needed multiple ambulances due to multiple down at multiple residences."

8:12 am: Deputy Music, Deputy Ball, and Major Evans all arrived "on scene" where they were approached by [Redacted] (later revealed it was James Manley) who stated: "there are two more dead people here." [Redacted] pointed to the residence at 4077 Union Hill.

FCSO later retracts the statement. I just heard the reporter say once the jury is selected, they will be taken to all 4 crime scenes. Wow. So I am curious if that means the land where the trailers were and then will they be shown the trailers that they have moved to an evidence warehouse? I am sure that will be an emotional thing for jurors to drive out to the areas the shootings happened. This was on the Law and Crime live coverage. I can post the link if that is allowed.

Listening to those 911 calls from BJ Manley and Donald Stone brings it all back. These were horrific crimes, beyond words. The photos of the crime scenes, the long line of EMS trucks staged along Union Hill Rd, waiting to pick up all those bodies. Interviews with Len Manley, eyes filled with tears, shouting and gasping with pain and frustration at the loss of his daughter, son in law and grandchildren. The sad, dignified lament of Gary Rhoden's father outside his funeral, speaking of how he was a good boy and wouldn't hurt anyone. Hanna Gilley's family and friends walking up a picturesque hillside to bury her in a warm spring rain. All those hearses filing slowly out of the funeral home, carrying Chris, Dana and their children to their burial place high on a hill.

We're all going to need a strong stomach and some courage as we learn the details that have long been kept under wraps. My prayers are with the family and friends who will have to experience this. It has to be done, so GW4 and his father can never walk free again.

It was just so senseless. There was no justifiable reason for any of them to die. That is what is so hard to believe. No big fight that lead a person to snap and shoot a gun, no life threatening situation where a person was defending themselves, just cold calculated planning for months to wipe out this family. So much loss because they didn't get what they wanted. We know evil existed, but not often do we see such evil just play out like this in such a thought out, planned, and carried out way. The details will be hard to hear.

I heard the same, listening when they live streamed that report. Post a link to the video if you want, others will probably want to listen.

DeWine and Reader said from the start that they wanted jurors to be able to go through the trailers when the time came for trials. We still don't know the details, but there is probably evidence in the trailers that helps the jurors understand how the murders took place and who the killers were, where they entered, etc.

There's been a lot of speculation over the years about whether there was some unique evidence in the trailers. IDK, we'll see. Among other things, its probably important to see how close the killers stood when murdering the Rhodens, how personal the killings were. How close the children were to their parents when shot.

Agree. There was talk from when they moved the trailers that they should be available for jurors at some point to see them or walk through them. I can not imagine doing that after all this time if for no other reason than the possible health hazards to anyone after being closed up all this time.

Hello, just checking in, glad it's finally happening very soon. Let justice be served!

I saved some links from the thread and have been getting ready to watch the trials. Just found this morning I can access CourtTV directly through their app on my smart tv. So that's another avenue, and the best for me as long as I'm near the tv.

Watching one of their programs now that's going through the case, but really don't have the patience to hear it all again. Testimony at trial is what I'm waiting for. At the end of the program a commentator referred to the Ws as "the family that slays together".

I remember when I heard about these murders. It was a couple of days after the bodies were found. Like others, I was perplexed when no one was arrested after many months. Little did I know the details that would be exposed after the arrests were made. JMO
