In this photo...#33 it looks like states it is a hornady .40 caliber cartridge case. This might be the first evidence (albeit small) introduced in the trial that a 3rd person might have been on scene. We know about Jake and Angela's proffer through the mainstream media but that has not been introduced just yet(to my knowledge). I think if they can prove there are 3 guns will help a lot. but more importantly if they can tell by the trajectory angles that the bullets were coming from 3 different directions that will help even more. That would help corroborate Jake's proffer even more.

I think there must have been inside to inside, as some of the bullets went through the wall by the deer head and went into the bedroom behind that wall, so bullets went through walls, and also I did see photos of trajectory rods poking out of the back wall of the trailer, so bullets went through the trailer from inside the trailer through to the exterior wall,

I am confused about the doors, and which door had bullet holes in it, I missed that testimony

I’ve been trying to figure out how to explain it & think I’ve got it…

The “outside to inside & no inside to outside” discussion was a discussion about bullets piercing exterior walls.

Regarding the front doors, I know for sure he said the holes were in storm door but not the “hard door” because he & the attorney specifically pointed that out. He believes the “hard door” was standing open at the time of shooting.

Side note: my impression of the wood splinter imbedded in CR was from the front door jamb. Could be wrong. I’m going to have to quit yapping & rewatch it. I’ll try to get you some time stamps.

At CR sr. I believe it was where JW was referring to that he didn’t know for sure who shot whom.
I pray there is a print of GW4 on one of the remnants of ammo left behind.

The agent said they checked for DNA on one of the shell casings that was found in the kitchen, but it didn't have any DNA. That was only one, though.

I also remember they were using the "brass catchers" on these guns, so seeing a shell casing or jacket somewhere might mean it fell out of the catcher, not necessarily that it was ejected there. Just speculating, I'm not sure.

Someone will correct me if I’m wrong but I believe he only has to be found guilty of 1 of the 3 below to get a conviction (and qualify for death penalty)

1) He was involved in planning.

2) He was involved in the murders
(physically there).

3) He was involved in cover-up.

One of the charges is Aggravated Burglary, which means they broke into someone's house to kill them. If they can show he broke into the homes with the others, that's enough. We know they have evidence of him helping in planning, etc. which is also enough to be guilty of murder.

Also, burglary in the ORC is defined as just breaking into someone's house.

I think one more in addition to the three you list up there. If he thought he was only going with them to burglarize, and someone was shot and died(could even be his co-conspirators) he can be found guilty of felony murder. Even if he ran away after the first person was shot.

Because AC is going by JW confession. She knows there was mistruths , the state had it figured out . JW gave them the guns . I think there will be more to come out that will surprise everyone.

It will be good for sure. I think Jake on the stand is going to be good. We know some of what he says is true because he lead them to the guns. There really is no incentive for him to lie about who was there. He admits to the biggest part of it all by killing at least 5 of the 8. What motive would he have to say his brother was part of it if he wasn't. When the defense gets to cross him, I think they will be very careful. They might get more than they want if they don't word the questions carefully. I think he will come across as believable.

Also, I just don't see how George didn't know or have any knowledge of what was going to happen, even if he wasn't there (I think he was 100%, but let's say he wasn't for some reason..) There is no way he was totally in the dark about these murders. He didn't hear a single conversation, know about any of the planning, know after when dad and brother had to be acting different. You don't murder 8 people in one night and have heat coming at your and NOT seem nervous. Dad didn't want them talking in cars or their house without water running.. come on. That is not normal and he had to know. He was involved. Not directing this at your, it all just started flowing the more I think on just how ridiculous it is that a family that has been known to vote on things, lives together, works together, schools kids together, just decides to NOT work together for this.

I could believe that maybe the first scene with CRsr and GR was heat of the moment deal talking turned into one upping each other or some argument over pot plants, etc. I can't understand then the rest of it. At any time they could have stopped and went home. If killing 2 people doesn't freak you out enough to stop this massacre and go home, then you are just cold blooded as they come (which we know the Ws are)

Does anybody know if the guns had to be reloaded that night, or would a .22 and al .40 caliber gun hold enough bullets for them to be able to shoot most of the victim's multiple times

the Colt 1911-22 would have had a 10 round magazine (They could have brought more than one magazine though)
The Glock .40 holds either 13 or 15 rounds of .40 caliber depending which Glock Model ( model 22 or 23) Again they could have brought more than one magazine.

exactly. I believe he was part of it. The planning, preparing, the night of, the cover up. I think the prosecution is going to produce evidence he was there that night, inside the house. He is not innocent at all.

It was a LOT of information to absorb today, punctuated by all the things they had to repeat about chain of evidence, etc.

I made it to the lunch break until i scurried off to bed. To think there are 3 more crime scenes, plus the scenes where evidence was recovered on the farms, makes me pity the jury. It also helps put the scope of these murders in perspective. No evidence tying 4 to the murders yet but it is coming. The prosecutors gotta do the groundwork thing. Jmo
