in my opinion this sniper lie of jakes if exploited could bring the best possible outcome to this trial.

id bet anything g4 fired that shot. he was the trophy sharpshooter. it was his rifle with a nightscope his personal sniper. an sks is not a common gun its a variation of an ak47 with a very small clip. the bullet may have a small diameter but is an extremely heavy cartridge high powder. this is not kind of thing u pass to someone underneath a truck because hes takning too long. george fired that shot. hell maybe he froze up after and that led to the melle.

if ac can impeach jake on this one statement by physically calling into question the mechanics of the gun passing incident- 4 is convicted and all 3 wagner men MAY be headed to death row. where they belong.

i have never heard of a plea deal especially for a heinous murder where the person making the deal can save his co defendants life while admitting they all slaughtered a family. lets put these evil people where they belong death row. even if they never kill them- parole no way and its much more restrictive 23 hour lock down i believe. this is what jake deserves for the next 60 years to sit there and stew or take the cowards way out and kill himself.

I have been thinking the same thing .. I bet G4 is the one that fired that shot and this story is something they talked about or planned ahead of time to try and keep one or two of the family out of jail. After all the planning they done, I doubt they wanted their children to be raised by someone else. I think they were hoping to spare either mom and or G4 from doing time so they can continue to raise the kids and try and get the other two out of prison.

Thought I heard AC say... Billy? ..stood near Cjr's room in case he got up. JW went to Cjr's room after shooting DR and HR, shot Cjr "while he slept", then went back to DR. Shoe prints found just outside Cjr's room where the lookout stood.

There was some back and forth but JW told them it was over quick.

I thought but could be wrong.. it was George that was near Cjr's room. I remember thinking that George was a coward...that he froze when he was supposed to shoot CRsr....and I can almost believe that he did not shoot any of the victims. He's all talk. Not that I think he should not be convicted along with the rest of them but I don't think he had the b*lls to shoot anyone that night and he is not the big man he wants everyone to think he is.

Agree, these people all worked regular jobs, commuted long hours, worked double shifts. They weren't rich. None of them had any real criminal records. I don't think Chris Sr had any. Frankie got in some tussles at the derby races. The usual tickets for not wearing a seat belt or using turn signal, etc.

While all that may be true, it doesn't mean he didn't make large drug deals with the W's and possibly others. I mean he did have a large mary jane grow, KR did also. And not a stretch that they were fighting chickens or they wouldn't have roosters tied to barrels. I don't understand people getting their backs up about it. You could tell when JM was asked about those things he wasn't telling the unvarnished truth. They may have and probably did work hard, but they all were involved in illegal drug trafficing. How can anybody deny that with all the evidence that points right to it..

I feel like AC did a good job in her opening laying out/explaining the Wagner family was all for one and one for all. The family discussed (and voted) right down to the most intimate of details of their sex lives. I don't think it matters if James knew George. The prosecution is going to be able to tie them all together as one unit with one goal.

Not sure I would read too much into that. She asked about JW because LE alleged that Jake had sent James a text the night of the murders. James never received a text from him. I've always suspected it was one of Jake's hacking tricks or something, as they were trying to set James up to take the blame then. Asking if he knew Jake established that he didn't know him well, only casually through family holidays.

Parker is still dropping hints & red herrings that James was involved in the murders. So AC needed to ask that question.

The other question about Billy, JMO, was to make clear that James wasn't involved in or aware of any of the drug business. That was another rumor being pushed on social media and elsewhere back in 2016, 2017 - that James was involved in dealing drugs for Chris Sr. (he wasn't) AC needed to establish that James didn't know anything about Chris's grow op and he didn't know Billy, only to see him a couple times over at Chris's house. He said they were talking.

It's never been alleged or rumored that James knew GW4. He didn't. He really didn't know or hang out with any of the Wagners. If there was any advantage the defense could have gotten by claiming GW4 was friends with James Manley, they would have asked him that when they questioned him.

I do not understand it either. By admitting that CR and KR were involved in criminal operations does not make the Wagners saints or justify the the loss of the Rhoden's lives. <modsnip -no link>

@Betty P I was looking over posts from yesterday and I believe you misinterpreted something. You said that JW went to FR residence immediately following CR death. Canepa actually said that once GW killed GR/CR he came outside in a panic and the brothers calmed him down. Then JW went back inside and took the keys out of CR's pocket to the indoor grow above the garage. (Assuming he stole CR's weed). When he came back his Dad/bro had already dragged the bodies to the back bedroom.

Interesting info from yesterday:

Billy really was the "mastermind" as AC had claimed. It wasn't his idea alone to do the killing, but it sounds like he was the one who laid out the plan, told others what to do, equipment to get, etc.

With news of the weapons in concrete 5 gal buckets attached to the "duck box" on the pond, it makes you wonder how much the elder Wagners knew about the murders. The duck box was a gift to grandpappy Wagner.

My understanding was that Angie nagged Billy into it. AC said Angie nagged, and nagged, and nagged Billy to do something because SW might be molested and no one in the R family would do anything about it over there.

Two things to note. OPENING STATEMENT BY AC

AC: they knew or they believed that Hannah May had been molested by a peer age friend of the family and The R's did nothing about it.

AC: Frankie was getting "too friendly with SW"

Note these two pieces of information could have only came from Jake. The first Via Hannah, the second from his first hand observation.

These two pieces of information was told to Angie by Jake. PER AC: Then Angie nagged and nagged and nagged Billy to do something. Billy suggested they kill Hannah May. SUPPOSEDLY Jake said "No not happening"

Everyone please remember where AC got her information. FROM JAKE.

I thought it was a terrible opening statement by AC. She was sooooooo admiring of Jake. Praising him even saying "Actually he came forward more to save his family from the DP than to save himself."

I took a third listen last night and can almost swear AC is in love with Jake. He must be a heck of a charmer.

I am not seeing any evidence against George. No evidence he was even there. No DNA No forensics according to AC. One shoe print, which she pointed out that Jake said George wiped his feet after leaving Chris Sr's, George did not go in to FR and HG crime scene, Jake alone, Did not enter KR crime scene, Jake and Billy there, No proof he entered DR crime scene yet, shoe print could have been Jakes. Not that much difference in size between a size 10 1/2 and a size 11. Just not seeing the evidence on George being anywhere near the crime scenes, or Billy for that matter. Jake could have did this all on his own.

Fact: .40 used on Chris SR and Gary.
Fact: .22 used on Frankie and Hazel
Fact: .22 used on Dana, Chris Jr and Hannah
Fact .40 used on Kenny.

One person could have used both guns by switching from gun to gun at a new crime scene.

Sorry folks but from AC's opening statement I am not seeing any evidence that either George or Billy was present at any crime scene. Take another listen to that opening statement by AC.

Another thing missing. Bloody footprints of Billy. Supposedly he went in and killed Chris Sr and Gary inside the trailer while Jake and George were outside. Then he entered Kenny's trailer, but no bloody footprints in Kenny's trailer. How did that happen????? George gets his feet bloody but in the dark BIG Billy manages by some miracle that has yet to be explained DID NOT get a single drop of blood on his shoes????? Then there is NO motive for George to get involved. All that voting stuff was in statements by Jake and Angie. No actual proof. I need to see or hear more.

Sorry folks so far not blowing my skirt up. Unless they have some evidence George was even there and some one other than Angie and Jake saying he even knew what was going down that night, he is going to walk with a not guilty.
