Wow. I bet he knew his birthdate though. I mean really!?!?!?! I doubt they enter unknown into the database.
Was the question of having a drivers license asked of him? Otherwise, people without license's drive all time, all be it illegal.

Yes, an employee can read it for the applicant or they will also allow someone that the applicant brings in to read it. The test is monitored so the reader can't drop hints or coach. I did it once to help someone out. Have no idea how they handle no birth certificate.
My neighbors are Iraqi. Neither of them speak or write English and husband has a drivers license.

Prosecutor Canepa flipped past this slide in her presentation without talking about it. The text on the screen says #GeorgeWagnerIV got this tattoo after the murders depicting a skull with an 8-ball in it's mouth. "There were eight victims killed in Pike County in April 2016"
Just when I thought these defendants(murderers) could not be any stupider. Wow! not just getting a tattoo that can be used to implicate you in a highly publicized murder.......if you look closely......the picture was taken by Angela Wagners using her IPAD. I am so glad these heinous murderers were so stupid they got caught. Just when you think they hit rock bottom of the stupidity hole....they start digging. just wow.

She's almost rambling. Just all over the place. And the Victim photos have incorrect info. HR's photo said she was the son of....

in my opinion this sniper lie of jakes if exploited could bring the best possible outcome to this trial.

id bet anything g4 fired that shot. he was the trophy sharpshooter. it was his rifle with a nightscope his personal sniper. an sks is not a common gun its a variation of an ak47 with a very small clip. the bullet may have a small diameter but is an extremely heavy cartridge high powder. this is not kind of thing u pass to someone underneath a truck because hes takning too long. george fired that shot. hell maybe he froze up after and that led to the melle.

if ac can impeach jake on this one statement by physically calling into question the mechanics of the gun passing incident- 4 is convicted and all 3 wagner men MAY be headed to death row. where they belong.

i have never heard of a plea deal especially for a heinous murder where the person making the deal can save his co defendants life while admitting they all slaughtered a family. lets put these evil people where they belong death row. even if they never kill them- parole no way and its much more restrictive 23 hour lock down i believe. this is what jake deserves for the next 60 years to sit there and stew or take the cowards way out and kill himself.
I personally, hope the death penalty stays of the table. I think general population, will get them closer to their maker quicker. Ohio DP will never put them to death. But some prisoner who hates what they did will.

I must have missed the memo. I thought this was a murder trial about child custody, as all the evidence supports to-date.

I didnt realize the murders were about a grow ops, especially with cartel involvement. Im pretty sure there was a much larger ops in Peebles that was raided after the murders. No cartel involved there.

I understand therories but shouldnt therories be supported by known facts?

I'll out any victim blame. The Rs worked their butts off doing hard physical labor. They werent making a killing on a few MJ plants.

I know i have a public edcuation from southern ohio and decades in the u.s. military, do i dont get wrapped up in conspiracy stuff without evidence to support. Sometimes the truth is as simple as it appears. In this case, a family feud over child custody. It is that simple. IMO

But what did Jake get at the grow barn?

I couldn't see AC's diagram/map very well. Which one was the grow barn? The garage-looking barn right at the end of the driveway?

What's with Parker asking questions about Chris having a big July 4 fireworks show? Trying to make it sound like Chris was a big time drug dealer who spent a lot of money on parties? Nah.

Well if he was a big time drug dealer you sure couldn't tell it by his house. His house looked like mine does after a visit from the GGkids. Those two little ones can tear a house down clear to the ground with a rubber hammer.

Parker is barking up the wrong tree on that line of questioning. Chris might have sold a little weed, which was going to be legal in Ohio in a few months anyway, but he was no big time drug dealer.

According to this article Billy Morgan testified that he does not know how to read or write, nor does he know his age other than he was born in the 70s. He also testified that he was working for Chris Sr. and that Chris Sr. gave him a truck and that he was working off the payment of that truck. I assume Ohio requires driver's licenses and that most likely there is a written portion on the test. How does one pass if they can not read or write? And would not a birthdate be required on that driver's license? So far this whole case is turning really hinky.
Not sure it matters, he wasn't involved in the murders. He was just testifying about what he saw when he went to Chris & Frankies. A driver's license wasn't required for that testimony.

Surely, you're not bringing up the old rumor that Bobby Jo Manley killed them? That was such a horrible thing to do to that family when they were suffering so badly.

First, Jake couldn't have killed them all. They're seen on video driving 2 different trucks together over to Kenneth's place. There's also evidence that George bought the murder truck.

Don't forget the hours of recorded conversations between George & Jake and others with the whole family. If they were fighting and angry with each other over EW, etc., it would be on the tapes. That won't be presented until later. I'm not worried about it. George was there. AC will prove it.

I hope so Betty. We have waited too long for this to see a not guilty verdict come back.

I totally agree. Let's stick to the facts. And 8 people were not killed over a drug that was going to become legal in Ohio in a few months. For all we know Chris was getting a jump on that by starting a new grow and hadn't sold any MJ yet.

I can't imagine why they would go to the huge expense of a trial instead of cutting a deal with GW4, if their case is allegedly weak. They could have easily done that, as they did with Jake and Angela. George's signature is on those fake custody documents that Angela had them all sign in case they were killed that night. It was about custody.

I'm sorry, but I'm not falling for the Wagner conspiracy theories about cartels or the Manleys or whatever. I think the case is way past that. There's still a ton of evidence and witnesses ahead. I'm surprised I'm having to make this argument right now.

I knew theyd come out of the woodwork. Disecting every word spoken. It is this very reason many will opt out of video/audio. Sometimes i think there are people assigned to be distractors. JMO

Well, everyone has to follow the Websleuths TOS. There are no other suspects named by LE other than the Wagners.

My opinion on that, asking about the fireworks CRSR was maybe known for having for July 4th celebrations may somehow tie into defense asking if CRSR was making trips to Mexico. Defense did ask BJM about that.

I wonder if CRSr and kr had started growing the mj plants in anticipation of mj becoming legal soon. That way they'd be up and running as soon as it was legalized and could start selling right away. I don't know when it became legal, so my theory could be totally wrong. Jmo

Could be his wife had a license and drove the truck.

I need to see more evidence that George was even at the crime scenes. Or that he even knew what was going down that night. They have a witness to him going with Jake and Angie to buy a truck. Big Whoop!!!. No crime there. I went with my GS to buy one.

Please keep in mind this trial is for George only. They are not trying all 4 W's. So whatever evidence they have against Jake or Angie does not automatically transfer to George.

So far the only evidence they have against George is Jake and Angie's statements. No wonder the defense got up on day one and asked what this all had to do with his client George.

While AC may have sucked Jake and Angie's story down with a straw I don't believe a word they say. Besides much of what AC outlined yesterday is hearsay from Jake and Angie, ESPECIALLY Angie who Jake claims was at home asleep. Even that doesn't sound plausible. Supposedly she sent her husband and two sons out to murder 8 people in 4 homes where in any one of those homes and indeed in Chris Sr's he was awake and could have gotten to a gun and killed all three of them and she goes to bed and SLEEPS. I call BS on that one.

I need evidence. Not hearsay and a story unsupported by evidence from Jake.

Bring on the evidence AC!!!!!

My opinion is Jake killed them all by himself. No stretch there. Get the drop on Chris Sr with the .40 cal, shoot Gary, no time to reload the .40 so go next door to Frankies and crawl through a window and kill them both in their sleep with the .22, run over to Kenny's while he is asleep and kill him with the reloaded .40, then back to Dana's and kill them all in their sleep with the reloaded .22.

Entirely possible to do. A guy in Canada killed 10 people and injured 19 others with a KINIFE.

Angie may have been the only one Jake told what he was going to do. This is looking like a jealous rage when Hannah refused to put his name on KR's birth certificate and move to Alaska with him.

Sorry guys. AC is not doing it for me.

Now I'm wondering if I missed some evidence or testimony. Did you come to these conclusions based only on the opening statement?

They've barely even started telling the tale through witnesses much less introducing evidence placing anyone at the crime scenes. Heck, according to testimony, it's still early in the morning, BCI isn't there yet to start collecting evidence and they haven't even gotten around to finding KR yet, have they? Feels like we've got a ways to go before we see any evidence placing anyone at any crime scene (except those who found them).

As DeWine said, there was an undercurrent of drugs, but custody was the reason. When they investigated further, that's what they found. Why else all the fake custody documents? Why the threats, violence and intimidation of the son's wives/girlfriends? Why the threats on their lives (which are documented)?

Are you saying that Chris Sr and his family's murder was his own fault? Surely not.

Are you thinking he was buying fireworks in Mexico that are illegal in the USA?

I'm thinking that's what the defense is going to try bringing up, yes.

That would be my guess. It became legal 11-2016 I believe. Someone from Ohio correct me if I am wrong.
