Nash has set a trap for himself and his horrible client.

It becomes obvious that the true, over the top, craziness and control of the Wagner family, mostly Angela Wagner, occurred after the birth of the child. She wanted the child.

And it was the same with Hanna and S.

Angela wanted the children.

About Hannah's second child. I think AW had an obsession with collecting children. Weirdo. Moo.

Farming kids like goats and pigs.

IMO..To make her feel insecure and defensive. While being a jerk, he IMO is actually showing more and more how these women were victimized at early ages.
Exactly. She isn't ashamed of her experiences. Although he wants her to be. You didn't see him take this line of inquiry with any male witnesses. Ugh. What a sexist 🤬🤬🤬.

I was told this lifestyle, this culture was all they knew. It's a generational thing. It was not considered wrong. Difficult to understand

It is all they knew, and I believe until they become more exposed to the outside world they didn’t realize it wasn’t normal behavior. Yet, it was occurring all around them. This is a cultural issue in Appalachia that is sadly ongoing and as @Betty P touched on, my hope is this case can now draw some light on the unspoken, and bring some educational resources to the region.

This attorney is just highlighting how weird and predatory the Wagner household was. He is not helping his client. Moo
He's also bringing up things in her past to taint the jury. If you have no case you smear the witness!!

11 in Georges bed in Angela‘s house.
I wondered..
uggggg… comfort these women. They were preyed upon IMO

Heartbreaking. So sad.

Sounds like AW tried to collect children way back when TC was 11

It really sounds like this is AW's way of making money. Maybe she thought she could claim government funding for keeping these kids. IDK, but it had to be transactional for her. She had to be getting something out of it.

There's a name out there for men/boys who are attracted to young girls, 11-14. js
Delete if not allowed. Didn't quite know how to word it.

News Flash for the defense attorney - lots of us have social media accounts with fake names.

Yep, I am not trying to place blame anywhere except the Wagner's, but this all is highlighting that these girls were allowed to leave their homes at a young age. We don't know the situation at Tabatha's house, but maybe her mom didn't realize exactly what was going on at the Wagner house, maybe her living there was to help with her home schooling and because she couldn't provide well so she thought this family was helping. It is possible she knew her daughter was in Georges bed, but it's also possible she thought this family was just taking her in to help a struggling family out.

When I listen to this defense attorney ask questions I just feel even more sad at the trauma Tabatha endured. None of this is okay and trying to show she lied because she didn't mentioned everything is disgusting. Trying to trip her up in trivial things like a different FB account is just in my opinion making him look bad and her seem more genuine. It's like he is traumatizing her all over again.

There is nothing that Nash can drag up or insinuate that will equate with murdering 8 people. Infidelity isn't murder. He is definitely badgering. Oh lawdy she slept with other people. She's not on trial here.

And that is why I still think Jake's daughter's life was more important to AW than Jake's and AW wouldn't hesitate to have him killed.. But I see your point and consider that as well. Moo.

I think only the women on the jury can understand what this young girl went through.
She was a young child and IMO, mostly women can grasp what she went through.

@Tiff23fr - Thanks for commenting. I can't get out of my mind that this sexual abuse among children was allowed and encouraged by their parents.

Wow and there it is maybe Tabatha "lived with" the Wagner's at 11 or 12 because she was being abused at home. Maybe that is why mom allowed it and it's just showing that many people failed her.
