Here is my question.

Every single shot from that SKS went wild. Hit the porch rail, the packages of flooring on the porch, the door jam, the stereo, the wall adjoining a bedroom and by accident hit Chris in the arm.

If George was such a skilled hunter (CN) and he owned the SKS (Jakes list) how come he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with his own gun?

The answer? Because he was not the one shooting that SKS. Neither was Jake. Both were skilled with guns. So why did the shots go wild? Because someone much weaker was firing that SKS .30 cal gun. Someone not strong enough to handle the recoil on it. Every time it was shot the recoil caused the barrel to go up or sideways thus causing the shots to go wild and hit all over the place.

Angie was firing that gun. The recoil was causing the shots to go every where. Who was at the scenes? Jake and Angie and maybe Billy.

Hey Raisin. Maybe the silencer thing threw off both line of sight and bullet trajectory. Add to that nervous, scared, dark, moving target, etc

I believe AW was home with JW and GW wearing the old man shoes. BW wore some others that fit his giant feet. All IMO

Not seeing why, after all we have heard about Angie's involvement in these murders, why anyone would want to defend her.

For 27 trial days all the evidence is against Jake and Angie, I am really sick of hearing those two names. If you can't see by now, in every day of testimony that Jake and Angie were behind all of this, how they schemed and planned everything, then I am at a loss for words.

Angie was not the sweet little grandma who stayed home and took care of the kids. She is a cold bloodied murderer who was right there with a gun killing right along side her mentally ill son Jake.

but to each his own opinion.

I agree with your most recent posts. Your narrative is spot on. You articulate exactly how I’ve felt for awhile now. You had the guts to post it. No doubt that AW wanted to be there to personally put the bullets into DR…AW hated DR.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts so intelligently. Additionally, I patiently wait to see what the prosecution comes up with concerning GW4. My 2 cents, there is not a W that will ever disclose AW’s involvement, with the exception of BW, which is debatable.

BW broken back, there is a pic on internet of BW on motorcycle in AK. Yeah, broken back…

All of this is in IMO.

Stay well, Raisin.

Another thought is Billy was in the house at this point with both victims so I would think George or Jake would also be nervous trying to hit Chris Sr, but miss Billy.

I'm curious how the defense is going to present this defense of George didn't know.

I understand that Jake lies and Angela lies so why would we believe what they say on the stand type argument. I also question though what motive would either have to lie? How would they just happened to have a similar story to tell about what happened? I believe it had to match enough for the prosecution to accept their pleas. If Angela gave her statement and it was so far out in left field it didn't line up, no way the prosecution accepts that plea. AC also said none of the lawyers had the copy of Jake's proffer until AFTER Angela came forward to plea as well. So she didn't get his proffer and create a story to match his.

So if they wanted control of the kids, wouldn't it make more sense to not only say George didn't shoot anyone, but to say he wasn't there at all if he really wasn't there? Wouldn't that give him the best chance of being released and getting the kids they were willing to murder 8 people over? How would either of them benefit by claiming George knew if he didn't? This is what gets me. I am sure Jake lies about details and makes himself either look better or to fluff up the story, but if the truth really is George knew nothing, why say he did? To punish him? Nobody will get the kids then. Makes no sense. Wouldn't their best bet of having any contract with the kids involved be to claim George was innocent so he could get let out and have the kids and down the road then bring them to see the W's?
I don't think it's helpful to ask what makes "sense" here. These are mass murderers who left forged documents and receipts and left ammunition casings tied to the murder weapons behind. They are poorly educated, psychopathic, criminally inclined and feel entitled to control the lives of other people. They took Bulvine from his mother. They killed Hanna to have control of her child. They don't think like normal people do. Murder is not a response to only having 50/50 custody. These people aren't like us. They are wired differently and habituated to criming.

They took steps to avoid being caught and those steps delayed both arrest and prosecution. As someone said here recently, they counted on (1) their efforts to hide their guilt (hey, let's turn up at the funeral home with bruises and died hair); (2) the high standing of their family that let them get away with many major crimes like arson and insurance fraud; (3) and the limitations of local law enforcement. They counted on throwing blame at some "cartel." They reckoned without Sheriff Reeder's smart assessment of local involvement and whatever impelled at the time AG DeWine to solve this csae. They thought that once again there would be no consequences. And as we know they planned, the one who didn't get arrested would kill their enemies, break them out of jail, yada yada yada.

The problem is the death penalty--not just dying but years in isolation on death row. Taking a plea gives Angela hope of getting out. Jake sacrificed himself to try to save George but even he is smart enough to take the DP off the table for everyone. They veer off from their proffers and they will be on trial themselves with the DP back on the table. They don't understand conspiracy or aggravated murder and aggravated burglary and how likely it is that George will be found guilty too. Hey, we have our own worries that a jury won't understand. So Jake saying G4 didn't shoot anybody is their big play.

Edited to clean up typos. Sorry!

Jake also told her not to have contact with her family - she was molested by two of her brothers when she was young.

Defense lawyers tried to get her excluded because they weren't given her address before the trial. A different judge had allowed it kept secret - the prosecution even said before trial they got her social security number changed.

She flew separately to be with a family a week after they left to Missouri due to passport issues. They were all in the same room. She was "horrified" and tried to leave.

She went up to top floor and hid to make a call to her brother. Jake and Sophia eventually found her. Everybody was agitated including George and Angela - confronted me left room by myself.

Stayed in room for 5-7 days. George and Billy left - was told George taking Billy to Flying W. Then just George came back.

They drove around during day looking for work and housing. She was told farm property they were supposed to go to had fallen through at last minute.

They left for Ohio almost immediately after George came back. Never found property in Missouri. Angela said she didn't like the properties. And ultimately decision to go back to Ohio.

Beth agreed to go because anything would be better than the hotel room. But said Jake had promised they never would go back to Ohio because of the news coverage. They moved back into Angela's father's house.

Billy only spent night at that house once or twice - she was told he was at the Flying W Ranch.

She sold her car but switched driver's license. Jake gave her a different address to use than what the house address was.

Talking about living arrangements and who slept where. Jake and George also got jobs at R&L Carriers as truck drivers. When Jake was home, Sophia would sleep in bed with Beth and Jake.

She went with the brothers on a trucking road trip one week. Bulvine would sleep with Angela.

I am so stressed for this poor, sheltered woman, my head, neck & back hurt. She's hanging in there & doing well though. She's doing real well.

This is carbon copy of Tabitha's treatment. Imo.

She's very articulate with her answers. She comes across as being ashamed at points.
I fear for her during cross; they'll attempt to eat her alive.

This poor girl. Jake is clearly a predator. First 13 year old Hannah, then poor innocent Elizabeth, who might as well have been 13. She was so innocent and Jake was such a liar.
Don't forget George and Tabitha. Very predatory. Authoritarian. Violent and physically abusive.

Same song, third verse. Now George is trying to push her out. She was no longer useful to them, they couldn't use her SSN to commit fraud.

AW accused her of inappropriately touching S.

Holy crap. These women are so traumatized.

I guess it shouldn't surprise me that they threatened her and her family, but wow if you are being looked at for murdering 8 people, it's really a dumb idea to threaten the current wife and her family. Good grief and her "friend" believing him.

Jake, Angela and George would decide as a group what to do in kitchen - she heard them talking about how to answer questions from media as well as BCI. Remembers being told the boys would never wear tennis shoes. They only wore boots.

She was showed a picture of someone holding a gun. She said it looked like Jake's hand - they said not look like Jake's hand. Informed me not say things like that. Fredericka George Jake Angela there - afraid BCI listening. And then they had her correct statement loudly

At that point she said she was aware BCI was interviewing them. Also heard them threatening law enforcement.

After objection overruled, Beth says Jake and George both loudly saying they create electric weapon to use against Mike DeWine Ryan (Scheiderer) and various other people in law enforcement. It was both Jake and George.

Lots of conversation between all the family members including Angela's mother and half brother about what would happen if any of them arrested. Stuff about finances and custody of kids etc.

Also talked about what would happen if any of them were incarcerated and how escape. All of them involved - discussion creating bulletproof bulldozer driven through walls enclosure - prison walls etc.

Angela told her things about Tabitha (George's ex-wife) - the boys would affirm what she said. Now another objection and bench conference.

Apparently the Tabitha stuff is off limits. But now Beth says Angela accused her of food poisoning. First Jake said her mom told him, then she mentioned it. Later Jake said Angela accused her of inappropriately sexually touching Sophia.

Jake also said that George wasn't comfortable with Beth living there because of these allegations. She later talked about it with Jake and Angela. Show down - Jake didn't believe she had done it.

There was showdown in kitchen - Jake said if she had done it, right thing to do would be make bat like in Walking Dead, string her up in a barn, beat her to death, burn down the barn then bulldoze it then hunt down her family and kill them to.

Jake also said if he didn't do it, then his mother would do it, or his father or his brother George. It would be the right thing to do. So she packed her bag and called her friend and pastor. But he called Jake and Jake said he was kidding.

Her friend/pastor told her she was overreacting - but she continued to make plans to leave. After that, Angela made rule that she was not allowed in room with children alone.

It's that Wagner sense of entitlement. They're better than everybody. They're above the law. Whatever trouble they get in, they will escape punishment.
