Jmo other inmates have done something to be there too. It’s not like they are the most upstanding citizens. I don’t believe he will have as hard of a time in prison as we would like to think. Jmo I would say his smart mouth will get him in more trouble than anything jmo

Inmates hate child killers/molesters and rapists. Jake killed a teen and nursing mothers in bed, endangering the babies. Plus he was a coward sneaking up on sleeping people.

There will be a target on his back for that, plus he is being called a snitch in jail. He snitched on his family, inmates hate snitches.

His safety is an issue and has been brought up and will only get worse in prison.

Officer just testified at trial that "snitches get stitches."

I was wondering how he would manage in a rough prison with his youthful appearance and slight build. In a photo last week of JW entering courthouse, it appeared that he had bulked up some...unless that was the bullet proof vest under his shirt. However, I do think he is probably using the gym at the jail.

To bulk up he needs to lift weights. Not sure his jail in Franklin has weights. Some Wardens get rid of the weights so inmates can't bulk up.

Does anyone know if Jake is now housed in a jail closer to court?

Long detailed article worth reading. Really gives alot of detail.

He told the jury the initial plan was to kill Hanna Rhoden, her father Chris Rhoden Sr., her uncle, Kenneth Rhoden, her older brother, Frankie Rhoden.

The other victims: Hanna’s mother and Chris Sr., ex’wife, Dana Rhoden; Chris Rhoden Sr.’s cousin, Gary Rhoden, Frankie’s fiance, Hannah “Hazel” Gilley and Hanna Rhoden’s younger brother, Chris Rhoden Jr. were not initial targets, Jake Wagner said on the stand.

But, he told the jury, “They would be witnesses so we had to kill them, too.”

*****************************************************************************************************

Now we finally know the motive for killing Kenneth. Kenneth was targeted because the Wagners believed he would blame them for killing Hanna and her dad and brother, and take revenge against them. They were afraid of revenge from Chris Sr and Frankie too.
Plus it was said that Kenneth went after a guy who had harmed Chris in the past.

They wanted Hanna out of the way but feared her family's wrath and revenge against them, blaming them. And wanted all witnesses eliminated.

Instead, BCI went after them for 2 1/2 years. And there still are witnesses - giving testimony.

Not the same. Killing someone because they really did sexually abuse your kid vs killing 8 people who never abused your kid and loved your kid.

Molestation = red herring

No one will buy it. That he killed 8 innocent people just in case the mother of his child might accidentally date a child molester some day. It was Angie's way to egg Jake on so she could get custody. The guy Hanna was with treated his daughter just fine. Was good to her.

His daughter was not being abused. This was an excuse to kill. He was defending no one. He is trying to minimize it.

Killing nursing mothers in bed, killing a teen, etc... Because what if some guy in the distant future tries to touch his daughter?

The inmates will see through him. He was jealous and if he couldn't have Hanna, no one could. He and Angie wanted custody and would kill to get it.

He killed 8 people that loved and protected his daughter. He killed no child molesters.

Inmates are not stupid. They see what we see and will treat him how he deserves.

If Jake thought a certain guy was abusing his daughter he would have went after that guy, filed police reports, and fought in court for custody, saying Hanna wasn't a fit mother.
I agree with everything you said 110%. I am only saying what JW will tell other people and he's the type of person who believes the stupid things he comes up with to excuse his horrific deeds. I hope beyond hope he gets everything coming to him every single day.

Good morning! Agreed about what you stated, but did the state show GW4 fired a firearm at any of the crime scenes? I must have missed it that... Do you have a link, exception being a tweet. TIA
I feel the states position is Jake told us this, we aren't saying we think this is exactly what happened because he might be motivated to protect his brother George my minimizing his involvement. I think what Jake's testimony did do was show George helped and went that night so the state is saying weather he did or didn't fire a weapon doesn't matter. They aren't saying they believe George didn't shoot, but they are saying Jake's version is that George did not. If George was present that night or helped before that night, he is guilty. I don't think they really needed Jake to testify that George shot his gun, they just needed Jake to put him in the planning, going along, and helping cover it up, which he did.

Jmo I am not taking up Jake. I don’t have the same faith in prisoners as some. I have only seen a prison from the view as television. Many a killers have lived a long life in prison though, I do know that. Jmo

Exactly, trish. Agreed. In OH, it is not required to pull the trigger for a conviction. IMO, the state provided sufficient evidence against GW4 (beyond a reasonable doubt) to support guilty, a conviction to put him away LWOP.
MOO, IMO.

MOO I don't think that JWs testimony gave the state that much evidence against GW, and that was supposed to be the reason that JW was to testify. We didn't get to see or hear the questions asked of him by either side, so who knows if the DP will be removed or stays. I don't think his performance was enough for the removal of the DP. He just basically told everyone what happened and why. He tried to save AW and GW and threw BW under the bus. I would like to see the state reinstate the DP for JW and AW...scare the sh$t out of all of them. Then offer GW and BW the removal of the DP and acceptance of LWOP for all of them if they both plead guilty. Game over. No more trials.

All the state needed from Jake was this:

Did your brother help purchase the murder truck? YES

Did your brother go along that night? YES

Did your brother help you dig a hole to bury the bag of murder weapons? YES

Even one of those questions showed GW was involved. They didn't need Jake to say anything else. Of course they had to ask a lot of questions because the defense was going to dig deep. I think the entire week of Jake on the stand only needed those few questions above.

I have a question that I don’t know where to look for the answer. When a post is deleted how do you find out which post it is?

I had 2 deleted via Mod's and I knew about by clicking the little envelope up top on their bar. There is where they tell which post and why it was deleted.

She bought sizes they didn't wear, but still, even then, she may not have found an "off" size to fit him. He is extremely tall and could have a shoe size that is so large it is hard to find his size in general. I have a son with such a large shoe size that many stores don't even have his size in the type of shoe he is looking for.

Billy Height 6'06"
IMO, buying the incorrect size shoe (with velcro closure) was intentional just as they intentionally burned them after the deed with other evidence. I think they wanted to mislead by leaving smaller bloody footprints.

If not, it doesn't follow they would need these phony shoes to mislead authorities away from the Wagners as suspects when they could have easily worn and destroyed their own larger-sized shoes. MOO

ETA: If the shoe doesn't fit, you must acquit!

Parker asked Jake if he was afraid of the death penalty. Jake said yes.
Parker asked Jake if he lied to everyone until he got the plea bargain. Jake said yes.

I don’t think I could take Jake‘s word for anything, much less trust it beyond a reasonable doubt if I was on the Jury.

Agree!!!! It has been a long, horrible and exhausting time for the families. It has been exhausting for me personally... and you all I'm sure ... just because I have cared about what happened that night to those innocent people who were assassinated in their homes. I did not know them. I remember searching the news on my FB the next day because Prince died the same night. The Chillicothe newspaper came up on my feed because I was following all the missing girls in Ohio at that time too.

Reading about the Rhoden massacre, I thought holy sh$t and from then I was hooked. I followed the site that will not be named and anywhere else I could get any info for over 6 yrs. I feel like I know them now. My ex has family in the Appalachians in NE Virginia and these families reminded me so much of the people I met visiting my ex's family, just good people trying to get along and get by the best they could.

It's time for it to be over. I think the state has done a phenomenal job putting all of this evidence together. We've gotten to see some very talented professionals at work. The defense of GW has done the best with what they had to work with but they've been insulting to the families and the witnesses closely involved. I know it's their job but they didn't have to come off as jerks and that's what they have done. I haven't seen AW or BW lawyers enough to see their personalities.

I will continue to follow to see what happens tomorrow and after but I hope they can legally somehow put the Ws away for life and quickly and they can be forgotten. I'm for the DP if there is absolutely no doubt the individual is guilty and that has been proven here.

My granddaughter graduated in May in pre-law but has decided to not go to law school for now. She has become disenchanted with lawyers, as many of her professors were practicing lawyers. She instead is working for a state attorney office in FL and looking to possibly get into a program similar to the Innocence Project.

Ok, I'm finished and all of this rambling is JMO.

Angie bought sizes they didn't wear and styles they didn't wear obviously to throw off investigators if prints were left. This is why they didn't seem to care that they were stepping in blood and leaving prints.

I assume Billy also wore a size and style not normal for him.

I hope someone asks Angie why she saved the shoe receipt and let herself be recorded in Walmart buying the shoes. I hope they ask her about Billy's shoes. Seems like Billy took care of his own shoes.

Be really interesting to hear some of Angie's testimony. What the reporters say anyway since I assume we will have to read her testimony from msm tweets and articles.

Now she won't be able to hide her face from the families. She will be facing towards them. When she looks out from the witness stand at the attorneys, there the families will be, in her line of sight.

Since AW's already confessed -- kinda takes the thunder out of any questions posed to her as it did Jake. There is much satisfaction in knowing she will face the family and all eyes will be on her. Unlike Jake that acted as if all was forgiven with his mouthed apology. I can't imagine AW ever apologizing but maybe she will. JMO o_O

I am going to guess Angela had no idea they could figure out what shoe left that print without having a shoe to compare it to. I admit I had no idea until this trial. I figured you needed a shoe to compare it too. If she thought that also, then just buying shoes and then burning them wouldn't be something she would be worried could be linked to them. I'm sure in their minds they didn't put the shoes on until they were in the back of the truck. They only wore them at the crime scenes and then they were taken off and burned so how would anyone link those prints to their feet even with a receipt for shoes.

It's interesting to hear the different viewpoints here. Still, I don't care what happens to any of them once they reach prison. I only care that they all go there and stay there for the rest of their miserable lives, where they can never hurt anyone else, including their children and family and friends of the victims.
