Soft-spoken? lol, This woman (AW) is jealous as heck! IMO
AW is pure out controlling, mean-spirited, and the comment about EA being pure evil shows no self awareness. She drove this. Can you imagine living in that household your entire life? Even JW knows something isn't right with their lives. "Mom, she's four years old!"

Holy Angela!!! Wow!
I've had some family arguments, over the phone, that I'd hate to hear played publicly, but DANG-o-Pete!

I'll have to put my dog outside when they come back from the lunch break. Those recordings scared my 135 lb. dog so bad, I had to turn off the audio.

Billy was no prize. IIRC, there was domestic violence in that relationship. Habitual criminal, thief, liar. He wasn't raised in a good home.
Explain his sister and brother and niece?

I remember discussing this... what fun to have Billy and Angela in a hotel room with children.

In all seriousness, I hope both of the children have been in therapy. I also dislike having thoughts like this, but I feel like if there is any good in a tragedy like this, it's that Vine and Sophia won't have to grow up in that mess of a household. I am sure there will be other issues as they grow up and realize how they lived, what happened, and just processing that. Maybe they can use their experiences to help others in similar situations. I hope they know they are survivors and brave and that none of this mess was their fault.
'vine is with tc, and S is with ?, K is w/ her G family, B is w/his mom, and baby RLR is with the G family. ( I've no link.) I hope all of the children are in some sort of support/mental health counseling.

Sounds like George drank the kool-aid.
GW drank more of it than J that's for sure. He drank it to be a part of the "family". J didn't have to drink as much b/c he was Mommy's fav. no matter what. He gave her a daughter.

Thanks. I hope the focus of upcoming audios is on GW4's involvement in the murders.

@ jamespilcher

George asks "if we all go to the electric chair, would you want Beth to tell (daughter) about it?"

Call me crazy but this sounds like involvement to me.

An early good morning from Pike Co. murder trial of George Wagner IV. First up - hearing on the final 7-8 wiretap recordings on which there is still dispute. Jury reports at 9:30 then we expect BCI's Julia Eveslage to introduce wiretaps to close out prosecutions case

Judge Deering on bench - there were 8 that were under dispute and maybe needed more context. Another needed to be edited just to show George knew they were being recorded.

One of them the prosecution agrees to play it all - it is 21 minutes long.

Another recording in truck - this one about George being upset Jake's daughter is calling Beth Ann Mommy - how it affects his son. Canepa says nothing is audible except that and nothing else provides context.

George says "I have to go home and confront him with the cold-hearted truth" - he has to tell his son that Angela is not his mommy as he believes.

In that same recording, George says Jake will rat them out he's the biggest rat of them all and that he should go to BCI and rat them out. Canepa says defense can't tell what else is on that recording because it's inaudible.

Prosecution withdraw the one about Olympics - referring to possible deer poaching. And another one withdrawn because it's short. They are playing another one in its entirety.

Defense wants full 9 minutes of next recording to be played. Canepa says it doesn't provide context - but glad to add and doesn't have a problem.

Next one Canepa says she was unable to listen to full call last night to argue it at this point.

One that is 32 minutes includes conversation about grandfather's headstone and people they met at R&L Carriers. Canepa says they've isolated the relevant part. Defense is saying they are only using 37 seconds and jury should be told these are snippets.

Last one is 22 minutes - prosecution says most not relevant. The segment they want to play is 2.5 minutes - begins 5 minutes into recording. This is one about "he would rat out anybody" - then Jake talks about how much he spent on toys for both kids. Objection withdrawn

That leaves just one for Canepa to review. Prosecution withdrawing 2 recordings. Some they will play it all. And defense withdraws objection on a few. Deering is allowing one snippet to be played where George and Jake say they know they're being listened to

Deering is going to instruct jury about transcripts as listening aids - they are not evidence.

Deering doesn't want them to go back to jury room for deliberation. They need to listen to tape not refer to transcripts.

That means at this point, 33 of the original 49 recordings/texts will be played or shown, with one still up for debate with the two that were withdrawn by prosecution this morning. There were 14 sustained objections yesterday.
In that same recording, George says Jake will rat them out he's the biggest rat of them all and that he should go to BCI and rat them out.

George should have followed his instinct and went to BCI as soon as he knew (I believe MT) and ratted them out. As it was he met a woman named Josie in AK and was going to take his son and move in with her. He should have.

I think it was in texts, so during one of Agent Eveslage's testimonies.

I remember because of the text where AW tells BW they could get a motel room and bring GW4's son, and "it might be fun." BW was staying at FWF and AW was trying to get him to come back.
Thanks that narrows it down to a certain person's testimony. Appreciate it.

It's very easy to connect with your jailhouse buddies. Unless someone told, or someone checked, the jails are too overrun and understaffed to even care. There's a technology system in place that detects these calls and sends an alert to the designated person. If it doesn't detect it right off, then they may talk several times or for months if they're good at it, but once detected, they may have allowed them to continue speaking, until the time suits them to punish them and end the calls. I've watched workarounds for decades. Mail your letter to your gf, she mails the letter to your inmate bestie in another jail. Use the right language and it may be a long time before you get caught, if ever, in county.
But the judge gave a no contact order between co defendants and it was brought up in court fairly early that they were caught. But for some reason BCI and Canepa never mentioned whether they listened to the calls or what the content of them were. So why don't they play the recordings of the calls for the jury?

It should be clear after listening to these tapes that George was very paranoid and angry about the custody battles. I've long believed he saw Hanna and Jake's custody fight and her refusal to be intimidated as a trigger for George. He was paranoid and worried Hanna would persuade Tabitha to fight him for custody of Vine. He seemed to have a grudge against Frankie, too.

I think he did shoot his own gun that night, wounding Chris Sr. There's still the issue of Jake saying Billy only shot Chris twice, but Chris was shot 9 times, according to the autopsy.

As someone else proposed here, Jake may have been standing guard at Frankies while George and Billy did the shooting at Chris's. JMO, George shot Chris with the SKS and may have done some shooting inside, especially if Billy got as hysterical as Jake claimed.

No way was Jake running around like Rambo, putting away his gun, taking the SKS, etc.
BBM - 100% and I really think it was George that shot Kenneth. I think Jake was over at Frankie's while the shooting was going on. I think maybe George did freeze up and Billy came out to say hey what is going on? Then George says I didn't have a good shot so he moves into a better spot. Then Billy does say okay I'll have Chris call my phone and when he comes to the door you shoot. Then he did. Maybe Billy did come running out of there. I think George sounds like he doesn't like to leave loose ends. Those taps make him sound very paranoid, like he's want to ensure it was all done right. He goes in and takes his dads gun, because it doesn't make sense to come inside with an SKS and start taking head shots.. that would mean blood on George, but Billy's gun would be better for up close. He shoots Chris some more.

You know I just also had another thought that maybe Billy wasn't armed during the meeting. If he isn't usually and that would be a red flag for Chris Sr to see or find out before they wanted him too, maybe George had Billy's gun. Maybe George went inside that trailer and shot Gary while Billy was out at the grow with Chris Sr. Maybe George drags Gary to the back then.

It's hard to say what was going on because we only have the word of Jake, but what is clear is more than one person was shooting unless it was just a game of musical guns. There is a lot of unaccounted for time where I think they were looking for money, pills, etc.

Yow! Imagine 80,000 pounds of this hurling down the highway at you. Sounds like either one could be on the verge of yanking the wheel into oncoming traffic.

Trapped like rats in a cage and devouring each other.

Why are they always yelling?

You mentioned this before, that George was not aware of his family murdering 8 people until they were at the border of Montana and Canada.

This means you don't believe Angela's and Jake's testimony. Why do you think both Angela and Jake are lying and implicating George?

Why not admit their involvement and Billy's, and simply say George was left out of it?

For lies, Jake goes into an awful lot of detail about George's involvement.

Yes, that is an incriminating remark for sure.

GW4 posted the drawing of a one-eyed wolf too. Angela said, "really George?" in response to the post. moo no link.

I think AW was doing more than scratching GW back in bed.

He talked of raping the BCI Agent per James Pilcher the reporter on Twitter.
