Wasn't that the one where they stuffed her poor body in a church septic tank?
Yes. Disgusting. And her husband, FIL, MIL, used to attend that church.

Canepa gave photos to the defense this week about the "re-enactment" that she said shows two people fit into the bed with the plywood modification. Defense lawyer John Parker argued they need time to review the photos. 4/5

Parker and Canepa had a feisty exchange, but ultimately defense will get today and this weekend to review those images and the wiretap docs. More on Monday, when I'll be back in Lincoln teaching. Follow

next week! 5/5

#GeorgeWagnerIV trial postponed today after #PikeCounty prosecutor is out sick + defense wants time to review hundreds of pages of 2018 wiretap transcripts recorded while they were driving for R+L Carriers. Testimony of the wiretaps will end the state's case. 1/5

@chrisgraves
Another issue is the so-called "murder truck" that #JakeWagner testified about modifying in order that he and brother could fit into the bed of the truck. 2/5

Prosecutor Angela Canepa revealed that one night this week they built the "false bed" into the back of the truck, on the specs Jake Wagner provided during his testimony last week anticipating that the defense will argue that George who was heavier would not fit into that bed. 3/5

Prosecution built a replica of the murder truck last week. Prosecution built a false bottom in a truck and took photos of their replica to demonstrate that GW4 and JM were able to hide in a false truck bottom. Defense claimed that prosecution was holding back the photos. AC claimed they (the prosecution) had just built the mock up last week, thus late delivery of photos.

AC anticipated Defense will claim GWA was too large at time of murders to fit inside a false bottom in truck.

So, AC's team had a replica or "reenactment" built of the murder truck with false bottom to show that size of false bottom was large enough for GW4 to fit into it.

I'm confused. the defense built replica or prosecution built it? Also, GW4 and jm or do you mean GW4 and JW?

This is some pics of the truck. They can be found by searching #OHIOVWAGNER on Twitter. I can see in the corner that at least one is from Law and Crime. I did not take these. The truck is supposed to be a 2010 GMC Z71. Checking the bed specs on that truck b/c Z71s aren't all that easy to find and folks make "envy" stickers for those who'd wish they had a Z71 or Lariat emblem, or Sahara striping, etc... If this is a 6' bed, with the bed down, he'd fit if they put a thin mat, or straw, on the flooring and only a two foot riser. I asked S/o if he'd fit in my sb truck with the tonneau in place and they said they could, even their friend who is 6'4 would be able to do so, but they are not as heavy as G4. FWIW Still trying to get bed specs. Are we sure it is a 2010?

Church is just a building. Bad people are everywhere disguised as good people.

Hey there is no fender wells in this truck it is all squared in the bed, plenty of room for two men to fit, JMO

I think the hay was more likely to conceal it while they were building the cover, and after, but I could be wrong. I was not able to make out anything that looked as if it rose above the top of the bed, from those grainy vids.

Very handy. You can fit a lot more, uhmmmm, hay, in there.

The plywood was screwed down on top of the bedsides, then the hey was stacked on top leaving a void in the bed, the Wagner’s put a lot of thought into the commitment of the Rhoden/Giley murders, JMO

Photos haven't been admitted into evidence yet. Prosecution and Defense were arguing over them. Defense objected to them. Don't know yet if judge will allow. Tune in Monday

I corrected my message. It was Prosecution who built the truck "reenactment" according to Chris Graves on Twitter.

Truck testimony starts at 2:41 in below video, no sound due to witness opt out but paper work shows it is a 2000 GMC Sierra K1500SLE. Photos show it is an extended cab step side so more than likely a short bed, 6' compared to standard 8'. My husband and I own a 2004 GMC Sierra SLE 2500HD 4X4 extended cab w/short bed, long bed would not fit in our garage!

Jmo I would think if we would have had clearer pictures those would have been seen since he stated 12 bales.

Or was the hay not used that night?
