It's a long way from stealing to killing another human being.Sure not distancing himself from the family crimes.
Are they going to say he didn't obey orders this one time when they were killing people instead of stealing?
Gosh... this defense (whatever it is) sure is confusing.
It would destroy her martyr image. For some unknown reason Angela never even one time wore street clothes. It had nothing to do with her losing mail and phone privileges. For some reason she just wore jail clothes.
Is there anything illegal about that?I listened on my cell phone.
See the trick the defense team pulled here? They knew secretly they were going to put GW4 on the stand to testify. In preparation, they pulled all of that delaying BS over the evidence so that the prosecution was exhausted from working long hours. They have short notice to put together cross-examination with little sleep and lots of exhaustion.

What if there is no hard solid proof that he did participate? There hasn't been any so far. So maybe we should listen to his side of the story with an open mind. What if there is no hard solid evidence that he did not participate?
That was in Tabbi's testimony also. That and BW falling off a bench.Throwing Tabitha under the bus by claiming she burned her son on purpose. You're so original, GW4. We've already heard these lies on the wiretap tapes.
Wonder how many hearsay statement they allowed jake and Angie to make? Oh that's right. Jake and Angie didn't have the guts to opt in.Interestring the prosectuion is just allowing George to make all kinds of hearsay statements and he knows a lot about things that he claims he wasn't there for, but heard about. I guess they can come back and get him so why not just let him ramble on.
I would love to know Tabatha's versionI would love to know Tabatha's version. I know when I was growing up it was the attitude that sometimes kids learn the hard way. Not saying she could have intentionally burned her son, but I know we can tell kids something is hot and tell them, but when they touch the something hot, they learned quick that they don't touch that. Same with many things in life. We try to keep kids safe and correct them, but sometimes they have to just learn the hard way. Not saying she did what he said, but hearing it second hand I wonder how much of that was Angela saying she did this and it wasn't really like that?
I noticed that. Means he didn't have any bitterness or anger at them.Anyone notice who he didn't badmouth in his testimony? His fond memories were times spent with Frankie or Hannah.
That is what stood out to me in his testimony. Liars usually spin big excuses and plans.I found that to be the saddest and most stomach churning of all so far. How did he let this happen?
Who says he knew it was going to? He said he didn't know what they were planning.I found that to be the saddest and most stomach churning of all so far. How did he let this happen?
There is a BCI agent who interviewed him at the MT border on the list of people the defense supeoneaed so maybe this will be backed up by that agent. And now he says he was a spy for BCI?
I'm probably going to get rotten tomatoes thrown at me for this, but I'm going to say it anyway because it is my opinion of how I feel after just now finishing listening to GW's testimony right now. I'm questioning at this point, is GW really guilty? Was GW really there when the murders took place?
I'm probably going to get rotten tomatoes thrown at me for thisAfter hearing it said by AC (I think after AW's proffer), that AW was not there and did NOT participate in the murders, I had a very hard time believing that, and I still have a very hard time believing that. But even more so now at this point, mainly because of 2 reasons. #1 being, throughout GW's trial, we have learned IMO a LOT more about AW, from several peoples testimonies. And with that, I see more so now than ever, how controlling she was. Which now, makes me believe even more that she WAS there when the murders took place! #2 is, Which then, after listening to GW today, makes me think even harder about the possibility that GW was NOT there, but instead AW was but in order for her to get her, IMO, sweet deal, she had to throw GW under the bus because her and GW's roles were actually reversed the night of the murders. But 1 thing that I really question is, then why did GW allegedly sign the custody documents prior to the murders giving AW custody if something happened to him? Has it been testified to that that was truly GW's signature - I can't remember?
BUT, with all that said above, I am not going to say one way or another in regards to if GW is guilty or not until I have at least seen how he reacts/responds, his demeanor, etc. when being cross examined by the State, which I am hoping is done by Andrew!
So, in the meantime, I will continue to think things over some more, wait for the prosecution's cross examine and my opinion is still subject to change.
This is all JMO, my thoughts/ideas, etc. Thanks for hearing me out.
Thus far, three of the W44 have admitted to being a family of criminals and making their money that way. Arson, theft, trips to Mexico, going down the Pillbilly Highway. I'm guessing that he did. He'd not be the only one to have a significant amount of cash to put toward a home. I get the feeling neither family was very trusting of banks.I'm assuming the prosecution can call in witnesses again to refute this testimony. They should do that.
Maybe at lunch break, they should bring Tabitha in to sit in the audience.
ETA: Did Billy really have $50,000 to put down on the MO house? Who gave him that money? Freddie? Even though she knew they were under "laser focus" for murdering 8 people.
I’m not a behavioural expert but from the way the describe Jake: not liking things dirty, obsessing on certain things, not liking hugs or being touched, making lists of things to collect, arranging things certain ways abd getting angry if it’s messed up, practicing something until he’s perfect at it, remaining “calm” during drama.. sounds like he’s on the spectrum.Wow. I always saw psychopaths and sociopaths as similar, basically the same thing. Very interesting. I wonder if one or more of the Wagner's are a psychopath or a sociopath?
Believe me, they have something psychologically wrong going on. Wish a psychiatrist would give an opinion.
If anyone out there runs across a behavioral expert giving their opinions on the Wagners, please post ASAP!
