He also lied that he had never seen the ugly Walmart shoes that Angie bought for him and Jake, but he's on security video riding in the car when Angie went to buy them. Angie testified that both boys wore the shoes the night of the murders and later burned them.
So, by just sitting in the car, and AW's golden truth testimony, means he knew. Not good enough for me. I guess no one has ever hidden gifts from a recipient, while they are with them. It's not that hard. eg; I gotta run in here for a second for some household stuff, be right back. Y'all wait here with the kids. Puts packages in the boot, and tada.

WATCH: OH v. George Wagner IV - Day 46 - Arguments over exhibits. Jury in at 1 ET

Arguments over exhibits. One an exhibit about banking records. One of the exhibits had listed an account belonging to #GeorgeWagnerIV owning a bank account with his mother. It was actually Billy W. who is George Wagner III.

Special prosecutor Angie Canepa says banking records showed the Wagners functioned as a unit and did everything together. John P. Parker says if that's the standard, everyone in southeast Ohio would be indicted. He said it's common in that area

How does John Parker know that? He lives in Cleveland.

It wasn't exactly a gift. The shoes were accessories used to disguise their identities during the mass murder spree.

The testimony of Jake and Angela is valid. Their confessions were made separately, without having communicated with each other, without have read proffers. For the most part, they match in details. There's no legit reason to nullify their confessions.

But remember JW was in the car too. Would she just tell one of them? She didn't bring back a lot of stuff back to the car. Would the kids have asked what she bought? Here JW... some new shoes for you and an extra pair for you to practice the murders in.
Sure he knew what the trip was for and what they bought.

I don't think I am going to render an opinion on that as we did not see or hear jake and Angie on the stand, so we have no way of knowing how believable they were.

This case has always been a he said, she said case with the jury left deciding who they believe. One thing you have to admit is George didn't hide behind an opt out like Jake and Angie did.

JMO
And one or two LEOs.

Maybe George was selling a pack of lies on the witness stand, but he sounded confident, sincere and believable. mo

Jmo but George left Capena speechless at the end for a minute. He said any admitted killer in this crime should get death. Well, jmo Jake doesn’t and he is held up to something he is not by the state.

What? Jake doesn't deserve the DP? Jake is being held up to something he is not by the State?

I'm not clear what you mean.

And one or two LEOs.

But the jurors saw and heard Jake and Angie's testimony, so they're going to weigh it accordingly.

As for testimony from BCI Agents, they're testifying about valid, tested evidence found at the crime scenes, in the trailers/trucks/homes of the killers, etc. Oh, and there's also the evidence they testified about which included the actual weapons used in the murders, which matched in ballistic analysis.

It's quite possible the shoes were either in bags so they wouldn't be seen by car occupants.

Why do i believe that George didn't commit these murders. I almost felt a little bit sorry for him.....he never had a chance with a family like his.
I don't like saying that but what if the jury feel the same....
He seems very credible....yes sometimes his story didn't match but what if he really didn't know about his family killing 8 people.
Maybe he was just so scared they we being stiched up that he did say they were all together that night to give them a alibi out of fear they were being accused of something he thought they would never do.
I don't even know if that makes sense but there's definitely doubt in my mind now.
What will his life be like if he's found not guilty.

Good morning from Pike County murder trial of George Wagner IV. Two sides arguing evidence/exhibits. We're on quadruple I ... need to get through quadruple M. Judge is not allowing the picture of the wolf from George's Facebook page

A full recap from yesterday afternoon @local12

Defense once again objecting to recorded calls being introduced - ones where George wants Jake's wife out of the house as well as his rants against law enforcement - even though they were played in court. Judge allowing them over the objections.

Judge asking why defense objecting now when they didn't object before. One is a guide to give jurors idea what recordings contain what content.

We're hearing there may be a witness for prosecution this afternoon - Silas Wagner - who sold the truck to Billy and possibly George used the night of the murder. He has opted out.

Earlier, judge admitted all the financial evidence - prosecutors argued Wagners operated as criminal enterprise showing the conspiracy.

Now up to LLLL - the firearm trace through ATF. Defense objects to the one George bought not the one Jake bought, which turned out to be the murder weapon.

Actually they are objecting to all of the ATF ones - prosecution says George used a false address on the form.

Judge allows the ATF records allowed. Nash continuing to object saying law enforcement records/reports not allowed or admitted.

Edited to include one additional tweet.

Silas Wagner and his evidence on sale/purchase of murder truck has been on hold for some time now. I think AC considers his testimony valuable for a conviction

Note: The abbreviation e.g. stands for exempli gratia, which is a Latin phrase that translates to "for the sake of example".

Two brothers, that do practically everything together, go to the same gun show on the same day and even if not together at the show, at the end of the day they don't show each other what they bought at the show?

Three guns were added to the Wagner collection that day, and even though the gun safe was nearly "overflowing at times" because they kept most of their guns in that safe, G4 doesn't see the new Walther?

All those .22 casings fired and covering the grounds and G never saw the Walther? There were so many with the Walther firing pin impression.
