Bobby Wagner has been in court for arraignments. I do know someone that bought two dogs from his wife (not recently, but maybe within 5-6 years). They love Bobby, his wife & kids. My friends daughter went to college with Bobbys daughter as well as traveled extensively on the horse circuit with her. Obviously they can’t help nor be held responsible for their relatives actions.

You saw him there? I'll go back and look. Is he near RW? And agreed, family of the defendants are victims too. They obviously have no control over other adult family members. I kinda felt like the G3 family was kinda trying to make it on their own, but it never worked out. Even the trip to AK. They may have been about to lose the Peterson home, and their dream turned into a "now". I just feel there's more to this than the control of a single child. I could be wrong though.

It appears she's completely waived her "speedy trial" rights. In other words, the wheels of justice can turn as slowly as they want, where her case is concerned. If they'd wanted to, they could have tried to force the prosecution to move the case along faster. IANAL though.

If found guilty, I hope they come out in body bags, they deserve nothing more, IMO. They were blessed with opportunities few in their area have & chose to throw it all away. They could have resided on the farm, worked & led a “clean” life.
I know many differ in opinion but I bet FW was all over A & GW when they lived on the farm & expected they earn their keep. IMO, she has strong work ethics, as RW & Bobby appear to follow.

I think she had a very strong work ethic too. I do think that GW3 and possibly one of the boys (GW4 I'm leaning toward), may have some type of ASPD. It would explain a lot of earlier behaviour and the difficulty succeeding on one's own. It does not explain murder. Four grown adults and not one made the decision to stop this.

If I were to be indicted for a crime I did not commit, I would want to get out of this nightmare ASAP.

Perhaps the prosecution had more time to prepare. The defense is just discovering the evidence.

Yes! brother was in court, my WiFi is problematic, I’ll see if I can find it. Idk if he was at AWs appearance but he was def’ at his someone’s . BW is a great big guy you can’t miss him. If I find it, I’ll try to post it. We discussed his presence on another thread, I think I suggested he was there at the request of his mom. Maybe in event he could list bail, idk. He was seated directly behind the defense table. His imposing stature makes him hard to miss. Idk if RW was there that day. If she was at all hearings, she was.

She may want to see what’s going to happen with the other three. Her attorney may have suggested she waive indefinitely. Obviously, the legal teams must coordinate the trial schedules to avoid conflict with witnesses, etc. Her attorney may be the one with 3-4 other DP cases pending. If so, she might be in for a 3-5 year wait.

She may believe if the three guys are convicted, the blame already placed, she can use their convictions in her favor.

I don't see a real need for a plea with the exception for cost efficiency and expediency. I think with the horrific nature of these crimes, it is only fair that they face the full charges. That may not be how it works though, and I am not pro death penalty, but if these people are found guilty of this by a preponderance of a doubt, then may the chips fall where they may.

I think if there’s a case worthy of DP, this is it. But, I’d prefer they enjoy many, miserable years, on the inside, looking out. Maybe reflecting. I’m not sure any are capable of reflection, tho.

It gives the defense more time to get full discovery, to see what exactly that the prosecution has on them. Disclosure doesn't have to come in one big lump, even if it does, it may take a very long time to go through all of the prosecution's data. Even if innocent, they'd want to know what evidence that the prosecution has on them and form a defense.

The 4 are an abnormally tight family unit.
I don’t think custody to be the primary issue. If custody was imperative, why not kill HR, only? Until proven unfit, JW would have been awarded custody.
IMO, there’s a much deeper motive than a trailer home & custody issues.
