Defense attorney objects to gag order request in Rhoden murders case

When authorities raided her family farm in 2017 to search for evidence in the Rhoden homicides, among the items they seized from the room of her son, George “Billy” Wagner III, were two bulletproof vests.

Fredericka Wagner. is accused of lying to a grand jury about the vests in July.


Owen, however, pointed to her in court and said that she can’t hear well and maybe didn’t even understand the questions being asked of her.

Also interesting, Prosecutor Canepa said of FW's request to leave her house to go to her business/nursing home Crystal Springs, that prior to house arrest FW hadn't gone to Crystal Springs in 3 years.

Good point. Why does she want to go there now, when she hadn't gone there before? Maybe easier to meet with people and discuss things that she shouldn't be discussing. JMO

It must be serious, I’ve had a defendant (in a work related case, ianal) wheeled in on a stretcher. There was a case recently, 5 killed in an accident. The defendant was brought from the hospital for sentencing.

That was some other guy. Williams or Williamson.

It might be she said she owns them & they have proof AW or another W made the purchase. It’s up to the felon to not purchase, not to the vendor to verify, in most places. IMO
A felon could buy one as a gift for a non felon, imo. He can not own one.

JMO, it's less important about whether the vendor followed the rules in selling BPV's to her. It's more about when and why and who purchased them and why she lied about her son and grandson owning them.

Why is FW sitting in the gallery of the courtroom with her daughter, as if she's a spectator, not the defendant? It appears FW is the most defiant in the family, assumes the rules don't apply to her. JMO
