They were aware a grand jury had been meeting, and FW and RN had been called in. So it seems they would have known arrests were near.

As I stated they were over heard discussing possible arrests but you are probably right, that they knew they might be arrested because of the Grand Jury meetings in July 2018.

And we know Fred discussed her GJ testimony with them (I think so anyway) and I think RN discussed her testimony with Angela but RN wasn't over heard discussing it...... My 2 Cents Only.....

Welcome to the thread. I didn't start posting until after arrests but you just reminded me that I had planned to go back and see what everyone's theories were BEFORE the arrests.

Now that I'm much more familiar with some of the regular posters on here, it would be a hoot to go back and see who thought the Wagners did it, who thought it was James, drug related, etc....

But your right, they did seem to know they might be arrested and the proof there is in the conversations the Wags had in Fred's house. Several conversations according to Special Prosecutor Angela Canepa.

Where is that place where an american (even less 4) can hide safe from any prosecution when wanted for the murder of 8?

I don't see the Ws running far culturally speaking. Alaska is far, but not culturally. They haven't even tried to hide and find work in a big city. It would have been easier to live under the radar. But they're not that adaptable. Not at all.

IMO, confrontation and "defiance" has been part of GW3 mindset for a long time. One more conflict deserves one more tattoo. They want him? Come and get him where he is.

IMO, They were waiting for him to get out of his ground to arrest him.

Welcome to Websleuths!!!!! I knew the W's were guilty long ago. It was Jake that gave it away for me. Listening to him and knowing he was an ex...it all just fit. I know it is a while until trial but I am going to say Jake was the driving force behind it all. He is the center. He wanted Hanna dead for leaving him and he manipulated his family into going along with it. I believe he used the Clarence R issue to suck them all in.

lol. No problem. As I said Jake is the reason I knew they were guilty. It just fit. I also believed that the W's were into drug trafficking. I thought that because the Highway 23 Drug Task force was at the raids. It has since been rumored that they have been smuggling drugs for many years. I think that was the "business" Billy and Chris were in together. But I could be wrong.

This Thursday, January 24th at 11:00am is a Pre-Trial and Motion Hearing for Edward Jacob Wagner.

One Motion to be discussed Thursday will be the request that Jake appear without restraints. Also, a hearing on the Bill Of Particulars is expected which provides more information than the indictment.

From the prosecution Jake's attorneys have received

1.) The 911 calls
2.) 1,475 crime scene photos
3.) Diagrams of the scene showing ballistics
4.) Diagrams showing biological evidence
5.) Evidence logs
6.) 111 aerial photos
7.) Autopsy reports
8.) Autopsy X-Rays
9.) 761 Autopsy photos
10.) Recorded interviews with the Wagner family
11.) 5 interviews with Jake from May 13, 2016 to
.......May 21st, 2017.
12.) 23 photos of Rudger Rhoden at the hospital
........on April 22, 2016

Adds up to more than 2,000 pages of reports so far,
the Prosecution is still disclosing Case Materials.
