Hey dirt bag. The jury knows you are being tried for the murder of 8 people. You didn't fight for bail, you waived your right to a speedy trial and you can rot in jail before trial. Welcome to the real world. Mommy can't save you now. Deal with it. JMO

I think that could be a mistake.
I wonder if the VCR was part of the Rhoden security system.

A VCR?? Seems so last century...

You're right, I picked up on the first part of the sentence when I went back to copy. The document does state 15 yrs old further on.

But how do you get three months off from the date of birth? Haven't heard the baby was premature. They appear to be a very specific time frame.

More questions, just have to wait and see. Between this case and current/world events, my reading load has increased exponentially in 48 hours. hours. hours. Trying to keep up! Lots of info and good posts.

The dates listed are January 18, 2013 through March 18, 2013. Sophia was born in late November 2013. If you get pregnant in February and carry the baby for 9 months, the baby would be born in November.

So these dates the prosecution is using seem to center around the time when HR likely became pregnant.

Even if the baby was premature (we don't know) and was really due in December, HR still could have gotten pregnant in March, fitting the prosecution's timeline.

And what will a jury think?!?!? Blows my mind to think of the W4 identifying with a film to the point of justifying murder. Surreal.

...heartless AND stupid enough to emulate the movie down to the tattoo!!

Whose ulesponsibility is it to make sure procedures are followed?
Don't know, could be one of the defendants posted it on a FB account or emailed it to someone. It's a movie about killers going on a murder spree because they think God wants them to get rid of dangerous criminals.

The Boondock Saints (1999) - IMDb

The Boondock Saints from The Boondock Saints (1999)

Sure, as if God would want the Wagners to murder innocent teens and young moms with newborn babies. Delusions of grandeur.
The killers are 2 sons and their father that the media dubs "The Saints".

Crazier every day. JMO.

Aren't the brothers Irish Catholic? I've always thought FW dresses like a Nun. JMO

I recall seeing a You tube video where the guy giving instructions to build the "Maglite" suppressor mentioned there's a serial number on the body of every Maglite.

And Walmart sells Maglites. Wonder if they picked up some on their shopping trip?

I have no problem w/ the court providing JW any convenience he asks for. Less for him to bring up on appeal. That's why Deering constantly asks him if he has any complaints. I say let him come to court w/ out restraints. LE has their eyes on him the entire time. He is also innocent as of now. All that smirking he does doesnt bother me either. Before the end of the year Canepa is going to wipe that smile off his face and it will be televised. There are going to be some crushing moments publically for the Waggies. Imagine the looks on their faces as those verdicts get read. Everybody be patient, justice is coming. JMO

The judge makes sure the courtroom procedures are followed. If JW's lawyer does not do everything in his power to properly represent him, according to the laws that are available, then the lawyer can be disbarred, and a mistrial called. It's not about being cordial to JW, it's about not having any problems when the jury determines their verdict.

The brothers are not Irish Catholic. I think they got their inspiration from a mix of movies, love of hunting, and possibly even video games.

Thank you Betty! I may just need to watch that movie tonight. I will let all know if/where I can find it. It must have something to do with implied motive and mindset of the killers.
Que - popcorn maker starts stirring..

Both movies are on Netflix.

I mentioned the movie Boondock Saints to my grandson. He has seen that movie and something he said got my attention. He said the brothers in that movie shot people in the eye and then put quarters on their eyes.

We know at least two of the victims were shot in the eye. Is that why they would not release the autopsies because all of the victims were shot in the eye? Like in the movie?

I wonder if there was something the W's did that was straight out of that movie and that is why the movie is listed as part of the evidence?

BTW my grandson didn't think a lot of the movie.

JMO

And rather than quarters, one victim had dollar bills strewn about.

I have been trying to find a word to describe the look on Jake's face in court. The only one I can come up with to best describe it is "Satisfaction". He is very satisfied with the fact that the R's and especially Hanna are dead.

JMO

He is likely convinced they did the right thing and will be vindicated.

Had a thought this morning. Could it be GW3 was the one who felt wronged and wanted to wipe out the Rhodens. He got JW involved telling him it was the guaranteed way to get custody of S. They get GW4 involved because he wants to move to Alaska and Jake needs custody for them all to do that. Just another possibility...

Could be. But i dont know what to make of the movie in that scenario.

Looks like an immature behaviour. If I remember the Columbine shooters were influenced by Matrix. They were younger

Weekend homework anyone? Find the relevant clip.

In searching, I noticed two sequels. Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day and Boondock Saints 3

Boondock Saints - full movie (link deleted by me)

Edit: Stand by, I may have to heavily edit this post, the link I posted doesn't play, apparently disabled. Multiple youtube postings, all disabled for copyright violations. Sorry.

The movie was very popular in the 90s. It was based off of real life events that the writer saw happening around him where he worked, in Los Angeles. It's good they make movies for all sensibilities, otherwise, that title wouldn't have jumped out at me. It's given me a whole different perspective on this case.
Yes, because Los Angeles is overrun with fake Irish accents. LOL

I'm going to watch it, maybe this weekend. Not looking forward to it as the trailers and clips I've seen are very violent and bloody. I do like Willem Dafoe's acting, though. My impression from researching it is that it glorifies the vigilantes.
I watched it last night. It was absolutely the 2 most boring hours of my life. Hubby stayed with me until about ten minutes in when the brothers sat up in bed in the jail cell. He gave a sigh of disgust and told me he was going to bed to have nightmares, thank you very much. I wish I had joined him because I actually did have nightmares about the movie.

But after watching the movie I am 100% certain the W's killed the R's. I am also 100% certain that Fred and her religious stance was involved from the beginning and maybe Rita also. I know why they did it but I am having a hard time putting it into words. Nothing convinced me of their guilt more than that movie. I wonder if that is when LE became convinced in their guilt also?

I also think that is why Jake gives that snarly smirk in court in front of the cameras. He feels so justified in the killings and is very satisfied in a job well done. He is convinced that when the jury sees why the W's killed the R's they and the rest of the world will praise him for what he and his family did.

Again, I am absolutely certain Jake manipulated his entire family into killing the R's because of his hatred for Hanna dumping him. He is the reason for it all and out of all of them he is the one who deserves the DP the most.

They want to be able to seat an impartial jury, in Pike County, and not have anything that could be used as a means to call for a mis-trial later in the case. Each of the players have a job. The judge to ensure fairness, the defense has to use all he has to defend his client, and the prosecution has to prove that JW is guilty. Right now, in the eyes of the law, and that judge, he is an innocent man.
RSD1200 Of course you are "constitutionally correct," but at what point does "safety for the public" and/or "safety for the victim's family" cross the line? You know I am not arguing with you, perish the thought. I'm extremely sympathetic and protective towards the victim's families, the bailiffs and everyone in the courtroom. And I think JW should be wheeled-in on a moving dolly like Hannibal Lecter. (I have my movie fantasies, too:D:D)
Statistically Piketon became the most dangerous town and county in the nation for 2016...I don't believe an impartial jury can be found there.
PS.. Thank you for providing so much good information.

You won't like the acting. It has to be among the worst acting I have ever seen in a movie.
