I noticed something interesting about the photos of those bullet proof vests.

Here's a larger version of the BCI photo

Wagner family matriarch asks judge to dismissed perjury, obstruction charges

It looks like the wall behind the vests has some kind of hidden storage area that was opened. The area behind the orange trim has studs and insulation, like an attic. The BPV's are covered in dust. It looks like these BPV's may have been hidden in some kind of attic storage area. LE must have done an extensive search to find that little hidden compartment.

If an elderly woman and her daughter are so concerned for their safety, fearing terrorists killing their neighbors, why would they purchase BPV's, then stash them away in a hidden compartment that is difficult to reach?

If you're concerned about your safety and fear a big shoot out, why wouldn't you have your BPV's where you could easily grab them? If you were routinely using them while you were outside working or riding on your farm, why wouldn't you just store those BPVs in the coat closet or in the mud room, where you keep your coat and boots?

Why would you hide your BPV's in a hidden attic crawlspace if you had nothing to hide?

Looks more like some type of fireplace to me. I can see the grate, and it looks like a couple of artificial logs on the wood framing, which is not wall studs. The placement of the electric outlet seems odd.

With the trim framing the opening, I'm not sure how hidden it could be.

Look at the blue tool at the left of the pic, just at the bottom of the blue tote. The tool sure looks like a phone that telephone linemen use to clip onto terminals at your exterior phone box. Handy wiretap tool if that's what it is.

eta: Mr Bubble? and bleach. That's an industrial strength bath!

Is the movie going to be like, a 60 Minutes, type format, of the family? Or is it going to be a movie that plays out, and shows up to the massacre? Then says something like, the jury will decide the facts, at the end. I just know I'll get madder than a wet hen if they make everyone look like inbred white trash.

I have no idea about the format but the national media rarely portrays Appalachia in a positive way.

jmo.

Ha ha ha. That is not Mr. Bubble, it is Scrubbing Bubbles. To heck with a bath like that.. :D Possibly that is an electric fireplace since the outlet is so close?. I don't see a hidden compartment, do you?

No, I don't see a compartment. The fireplace is four bricks deep.

I thought Scrubbing Bubbles came in a metal aerosol can with a spray top. That looks like plastic with a screw-on cap.

eta: The container doesn't match pics of Mr Bubble I've found, except the color.

Scrubbing Bubbles do come in a pump spray, didn't know that until now.

eta2: I'm thinking a radiant electric heater of some sort to go with the fake logs.

It looks to me like a Spa Tub with an electric fireplace and a wood chair outside of it. The person sitting next to me thinks that it's a mirror.

I think it is a bathroom. The white items on the left are a sink and a tub-sink. That appears to be older tile too. I have seen the large, black and white, floor tile in old homes (on what was/is homes owned by wealthier folks at one time). Tile like that, and especially to tile that much, speaks to bathroom area, and, again, costly. I blew up the pic and cropped out "the finger" so we could look at it better.

Just asked the better half, he says bathroom, and the item with the pink-ish trim, is possibly a full length mirror. Edit: I however see a plug in the back so I'm not so sure about the mirror part.

I will most likely just record it unless I can get a piece of equipment to do it live by then.

I think things are going to start heating up come Wednesday. We will see what the W’s overall goals are.

Is freds video interview posted anywhere publicly?

It's worth a try, but I doubt they'll let you record or broadcast without press credentials, I could be wrong.

Has anyone been seen using their cellphone in the courtroom? I've forgotten if I did.

I mentioned electric fireplace, and maybe dressing area/spa area out of our sight, my person sitting next to me says mirror, in fancy bathroom.

I cheated, I put the pic in Windows pic viewer and blew it up.

There's a big exercise ball in the spa tub.

Seems like a weird place to store some of that stuff.

My guess, after they spent $10-15k on the room, they decided to fake the fake fireplace. Homeboys nailed up a frame and they plopped some artificial logs on it.

I don't think it's a mirror, it's four bricks deep and a few more high. A mirror should be reflecting the chair/stool, tub and sink, not bricks, logs, and a grate.

So there isn't a risk of electrocution with a curling iron falling into the bath?

Certainly not a remodel that is up to code. Lol.

Definitely not a ground fault receptacle in the 'mirror'.

Most rural counties don't have building codes, never know what you'll see. Bet that light under the tub has no ground fault protection either. Just think, a bit of water, and ... Well I'm being mean I guess.

eta: I'm not sure that's a sink beside the tub, it seems to overlap partially. Maybe they're storing the basketball hoop in there.

Bet that phone is in evidence too!

Could be a heater Col. The tile looks like a bathroom to me. I agree that is a phone device that they use on junction boxes.

I wonder if these items were removed from the large blue storage tub. I have been wondering if the tan fabric item still in the tub could be a gun case.
(I realize that may be a stretch speculation given the minimal view in the picture. It’s what I thought of though when I noticed it.)

I was thinking some geegaw you hang on a wall. The D-ring doesn't look substantial enough for anything gun related.

What are these used for?

Every house with a landline has a User Interface box where the line comes in. A phone lineman can walk up and put the alligator clips on the terminals in the box. He can call Hong Kong if he wants to. They can also use it up on the pole.

The interface box also has a modular phone jack you can plug your telephone into, to determine if your line actually works.

That could be a vintage handset in the pic, they carry more advanced handsets now.

I thought of something like this. These are plastic rings.
