My theory has been that early on, the Wagners were feeding BCI and PCSO false information about the surviving Manley and/or Rhoden family members as suspects up to the time of JM's arrest. Perhaps Ryan Scheiderer was the first one who finally figured out the Wagners were lying and leading them astray.
As much as we've seen FW running the show for her family after their arrests, it's logical that she may have been directing the effort to deceive LE with fake leads and info after the murders. She may not have known about the murder plans in advance, but (JMO) she possibly found out her family was involved soon after. With her local Boss Hogg reputation, she may have been using her skills and influence to keep LE running in circles, feeding her family ideas for fake tips, etc. to give investigators during their interviews. It would fit her character, JMO, that she would become angry and develop a major grudge against the investigators who first turned against the Ws. JMO, this is why she's still facing charges. They have more info on her involvement that they're not yet revealing.
MOO
Yes. I actually gave Fred the benefit of the doubt but there is a saying that goes:
"The lady doth protest too much."
The lady doth protest too much.

"The lady doth protest too much" is a quotation from the 1599/ 1600 play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It has been used as a figure of speech, in various phrasings, to describe someone's too frequent and vehement attempts to convince others of some matter of which the opposite is true, thereby making themselves appear defensive, and insincere.
Fred's attention grabbing interviews at her house..."Hey potential jurors notice me! " And the coy, hand covered whispering, and the attorney arm-swinging theatrics, along with gum chomping and dark unnecessary (indoor) sunglass, adding in the theatrical receipts produced after 8 months, which led to a dramatic Motion of Dismssal, all makes me feel that she is showing her "poker hand" of being quite complicit:
"Involved with others in an illegal activity or wrongdoing".
Thus, her strange efforts to gain support from potential clients and jurors just is ringing hollow for me at this point. I feel it's a path to mislead.
Well, let the truth prevail, whatever it is.
totally agree... she loves the attention and has enough of an ego to think she is getting away with something/everything. If I have this all wrong, I apologize but I remember early on reading about one of the boys HR was dating when she was pregnant with CG's baby -- Cory maybe?? his father owned the restoration business -- anyway I remember 'the boy' said he worked at a restaurant owned by the Wagner family (did they own a restaurant at one time??? ) and he said "the grandmother" was weird and nuts!!! At the time I was not familiar with the Wagner family but had read about the Flying W farm and the history of the fire, the horses, etc.
Yes. Hanna wanted Corey H. to be the father even though CG was the actual father. CG had substance abuse problems and Hanna felt that CH was stepping up to the plate and being there for her as opposed to the actual biological father, CG.
CH's dad owned/worked in a crime scene clean up business. Corey worked in this business also with his dad. Because of this there were rumors early on, that Corey H. himself, was involved in the clean up of the Rhoden/Gilley murder scenes.
