I think if George were offered Witsec, he'd sing like a bird!!!
Would this be something LE is willing to do? Be willing to let one of the perps free and offer them witsec for him or her to testify on the other 3?

Possibly but I think prosecutors want to get all 4 of them and probably believe their case is strong enough in and of itself.

Castle's twin custom 1911A1s from The Punisher (2004). Note the custom compensators on the barrels. The same gun case as the 1911s we also see a Colt 1851 Navy, a Colt Single Action Army, and a LeMat 1861 percussion cap revolver.photo from imfdb.org
Before the massacre, Frank's father shows him a pair of 1911A1s he says he finally finished customizing, which struck quite a cord with many a-1911 fan.

During a preparation montage, we see Frank affix a stock to a 3rd Gen Glock 17 with a stainless slide. He then adds a 33-round magazine to the pistol, but unfortunately, he is never seen using it again.

During the massacre at the Castle home, Frank and his father both arm themselves with Savage/Stevens 311A double-barrel break action shotguns and take down a number of bad guys before they're both shot, Castle Sr. fatally.

I don't think those are the pistols on JW's FB page. I am not even sure they were pictures of his.

I have no idea, I was hoping the poster who saw them on Jake's facebook might recognize these as being what he saw. Any movies or guns that Jake was interested in are worth scrutiny. The Boon Dock Saints movie is in evidence and silencers are mentioned in the indictments and silencers come from that movie.

Thanks, Cool Cats! Had never heard of this movie. JW seemed obsessed with violent B movies and the guns, tattoos and other props. Really obsessed.

TIL there's a version of IMDB which covers firearms used in movies. Aren't these guns expensive? How were the W's able to afford so many unique firearms?
If this is the movie JW liked, it seems he got the plot line reversed a little

The Punisher (2004) - IMDb

An undercover FBI agent becomes a vigilante assassin and sets out to unleash his wrath upon the corrupt businessman who slaughtered his entire family at a reunion.

If this is the movie JW related to, he seemed to be obsessed with viewing the Rhodens as "corrupt businessmen" who were a threat to his family. Talk about psychological projection. I wonder if some of JW's paranoia came from his alleged drug use.

This scares me from your post:

The Punisher (2004) - IMDb:

An undercover FBI agent becomes a vigilante assassin and sets out to unleash his wrath upon the corrupt businessman who slaughtered his entire family at a reunion.

I do think it's entirely possible he saw this movie if he posted guns similar to the ones in this movie.

just a thought......The Wagner's murder "ideas" had to have come from somewhere.........o_O

Maybe JW saw himself as a corrupt businessman family that was telling HR that he was going to do to her family as did the movie punisher, just a thought, The Wagners might root for the bad guys in all the movies, JMO

Or the four wheelers, cars, trucks, hunting trips, vacations, etc., also.... They had a lot of expensive "toys", and vacations to Alaska are not cheap. I've wondered from early on where that money came from. Did FW buy those things for them, or did they work for her to afford them? You do not hear much about steady jobs that JW or GW4 had and apparently GW3 was not considered to be employable if he was on SSI. My opinions only....

For one thing, they were thieves... JMO

There was definitely a thought process in that family that is different than the "norm" in society, in my opinion. What caused that would be interesting to know. It sure seems to me that some paranoia and delusion was involved but what caused it? They seemed to have had an "us or them" thought process, also, since they had to murder eight people to make sure it was not "them"...
My opinions only...

I agree. Also, when they were arrested, all 3 men looked really strung out on drugs. And it was the middle of the day. JMO

I think they were able to afford expensive firearms because they were involved in an illegal enterprise, after all none of them worked a steady job yet were able to buy a semi truck, ATV's, new pickup trucks, expensive firearms, a 200 thousand dollar house, ect. They didn't afford all that on Billy's SSI and Jake and George's spotty work records.

JMO

Illegal enterprise....perfect description! But I can't decide what it was. Drugs, firearms....? What did they haul in that semi? All JMO

I wonder if the IRS is going to investigate also?

As far as the 4 Wags go, IRS wouldn't waste their money. But I do think the IRS is investigating FW big time. JMO

And one Discovery document mentions 1911 guns. I believe it was Billy's or Jake's Discovery. JMO

IMO, all four Wagners are guilty of aggravated MURDER and other crimes as charged. Not just one of the four, or two. All four. Conspired. In a pattern of very corrupt activity. And planned. And carried these murders out. And conspired even more to keep the corrupt activity going up until the day of their arrests! And lied through their teeth even more then. Time after time. To LE. To Investigators. Even to their friends in Alaska who trusted them. Lies, lies, lies. All JMO.

Thank you, bowler. You seem to be my only friend. But that's okay! I have no doubt your last name is Supreme. Lol

Thankx. I couldn't find any 1911 gun reference in the evidence but it's mentioned in the article you linked. Good work.

"....Prosecutors have also turned over a photo of a 1911.22 firearm and a photo of a tattoo belonging to George Wagner.
Authorities announced the indictments two weeks after the search (of the Peterson Rd. well) and said they had become aware of a homemade silencer, which was the final piece of forensic evidence in the case.... "

Both movies, The Punisher and the Boondock Saints use 1911 guns. Maglite is in the evidence (found in the well) and Maglite flashlights can be put on 22's as a suppressor and there are many YouTube videos that walk you through it.
The parts are easy to get to make this kind of suppressor.

The Maglite suppressor, made from the industrial-strength flashlight, is one of the most popular DIY silencers on the internet. The key to all DIY silencers is getting an adapter with the right threading to attach to the barrel and whatever you are using as a makeshift suppressor.

The maglite flash light can be made into a suppresser with freeze plugs for an auto that can be purchased at any auto store, JMO

The autopsy said the Rhodens where shot 32 times and doesn’t say about stray shots, GR was shot with a bigger caliber gun, did the Wagners breaker the suppresser when they where fighting with Big Chris, just saying something happened to make GR to be shot with the bigger gun, maybe he walked in and surprised the Wagners, I just think he was killed by another shooter that didn’t shoot anyone else, WHY? Could it have been GW4?

It is larger caliber bullets. If he was the only one shot with larger bullets I wonder why? I can't think of a reason.

Opinion
No way did GW4 shoot only one. For some reason there seems to be some doubt recently about GW4's level of involvement but no doubt at all that Angie was a prolific shooter.

My emotions tell me she couldn't do it, but my intellect tells me the indictments against her are brutal, no sugar coating. So going by that, yes she could be more involved than just being the stay-at-home babysitter that night.

Just because GW4 is only the uncle and not a parent or grandparent of Jake's child, that doesn't mean he has any less of a motive or less skin in the game. He was the most vocal about revenge, what kind of revenge? I don't think he was talking about anything other than shooting innocent LE--- just doing their job--- in cold blood.

The words used were "to take revenge against anyone who goes against us. " Sounds like a 100% group effort---ride or die together. He had full custody of his child and he wanted his brother to have the same and was glad to help him get it. For all we know, he was in charge of the guns and assembled the silencers and did the most shooting.

Here is one of his favorite Facebook Communities. Pretty chilling when you scroll down.
