Question is, which device? Well It's a device that involves a CCU analysis......

The camera control unit (CCU) is typically part of a live television broadcast chain. It is responsible for powering the professional video camera, handling signals sent over the camera cable to and from the camera, and can be used to control various camera parameters remotely.

So it's very possible that what the defense wants is an un-redacted copy of the audio from a video camera. The audio part of the video is what gets transcribed and then the transcript gets redacted.

I can only think of one type of video that would be
#1) Redacted
#2) Pertain to all the Wagner's
#3) Be a singular not a multiple request.

I'm thinking it's surveillance video--- used as the "confidential reliable source."

However, there still could be a direct witness who overheard a couple of revenge/escape
conversations but because the Wagner's had multiple revenge/escape conversations I seriously doubt that all of them were overheard by an outsider/direct witness. A hidden surveillance video camera is more likely to pick up multiple conversations as compared to just one person.

The surveillance video camera could have been installed during the May 2017 search of Fred's house. And the searches themselves would get them talking, it's called "tickling the wire".

This is just one theory.... My 2 Cents.....

IMO, there was a pic of LE on search day, a few standing around a flower bed which had a wellhead in the middle of it?

IMO = Could be more than one well. My farmhouse has two, covered one out front with a bucket and rope winch (circa 1850s), and one 5ft from the house, drilled in 1969 or so.

IMO = If I was BCI, I would give that newer barn a high-tech look. And they may have.

We don't know exactly what they found. Maybe just a flashlight body with the drilled end cap. Maybe some gunshot residue, maybe some packing in the body, maybe the silencer made ballistics marks on some rounds. This paragraph is all MAYBE.

George "Billy" Wagner, his wife and two sons were all arrested less than a week later, on Nov. 13. In announcing the arrests, former Ohio Attorney General and now-Governor Mike DeWine said a particular piece of evidence, a firearm suppressor according to reports at the time, paired with all the other evidence led to the arrests.

Records filed by prosecutors in the case of George "Billy" Wagner III indicate investigators on Oct. 31 searched the Peebles address of a farm the Wagner family sold before moving to Alaska and recovered an item from a well on the property.

The evidence listing says there were 21 photos from the search of the well, another seven photos of the recovered item and also an 8-page Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives report made on Nov. 7, 2018. Also listed from that search is "Information from Maglite."

Mon., May 15, 2017: The property in the 200 block of Peterson Road in Adams County Monday, which was the site of an intensive search Friday and Saturday by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations, tied to the Rhoden massacre. The property was recently sold by Jake Wagner, the former boyfriend of Hanna Rhoden, one of the victims found killed on April 22, 2016. Wagner is the father of Sophia Wagner, whom he gained full custody of after Hanna was killed.

I’ve said the same about that barn. Dirt floor. Throw a good amount of fresh dirt down to cover the well, build a barn, and voila, hidden well. JMHO.

An old dug well, 24"-36" in diameter or even bigger, lined with stone or tile is not uncommon on old properties. Many are covered over with wood and buried. Few are plugged and filled in per health department regs.
Ground penetrating radar would be good for checking that barn floor...

Good question. We know some had iPhones which have Siri and well, Siri is always listening too. My siri randomly talks to me . A little off topic here, but fun fact-if you google Mark Zuckerberg and him covering his cameras, you’ll find numerous photos of him having black tape over both the front facing camera on his phone and his laptop webcam. Technology spies on us. I was leery to buy a smart tv for that reason.

Back on topic, that’s a great point Johnny. And if they didn’t have Alexa or an Echo, even the new fire sticks have Alexa and again, also those iphones w/Siri.

His trial date was set Monday. Attorneys said his trial is expected to run through the month of October. All four attorneys along with the judge agreed to a Friday deadline to turn over files associated with the case, Fox19 reported.
