Those indictments on Reader really does have me believing he or his team would purposely plant evidence to frame someone. I think the W’s are guilty, but also wouldn’t be surprised if they were indeed set up/framed

Why would Reader frame them? Do you think Reader killed the R's?

Just give me a general outline of what situation would prompt Reader to frame the W4.

Did he even know the W4 prior to the murders?

Why would he chose the son of one of the wealthiest women in the county to frame? Why not just choose a couple of hard cases with criminal records as long as their arm and frame them for the murders? Claim they were there to steal MJ and money from the R's in a robbery gone way wrong?

Why would he choose the son of a wealthy, upstanding, Christian family with no real criminal record other than the theft of some boots and shoplifting to frame for the slaughter of 8 people?

If I was on a jury that would be a few questions I would want to know.

So just give me one reason.

IMO all this framing of criminals is bogus. 99.9% of the time LE charges the right people who actually committed the crime.

Again...just give me one reason why Reader would choose the son of a wealthy, upstanding, Christian woman who was the biggest land owner in Pike county to frame over any one of the hundreds of hard boiled criminals with records as long as their arms to frame and plant evidence on?

i think the person does have it wrong. its not the Rhodens cars that he allowed her to drive, but the complaint against him states impounded cars that he lets his daughter drive

The complaint reads in full:

Sheriff Charles S. Reader keeps the cash confiscated on drug cases in a small safe in his office that only he has access to. We believe he is taking money from this safe and using it for personal use. He is a compulsive gambler and never has any money. He has borrowed money from Deputy William Stansbury in the amount of several thousand dollars because he gambled his own money away. He has borrowed large sums of money from Roger Risner, one of his special deputies and who works for the prosecutor for the same reason. He owes local car dealer Lance Vallery over 20,000 dollars. Vallery’s girlfriend Rhonda Potter was Reader’s secretary that he had an affair with. Reader just does whatever he wants and no one ever calls him on it. He has also taken cars out of his impound lot and given them to his daughter to drive. We are scared to death of him. He is unstable and threatens people.

Only if the entire jury plus alternates are made up of a bunch of ignorant people. Even then it would be a hard sell to convince them Reader framed the W's with all those state and federal agencies snooping around in the crime not counting all the other LE departments.

He wanted to be in both of those and be the hero. I don’t believe he was involved in the killings. Could I be convinced he took things from the scene prior to bci arriving? Yes. Could I believe he could make a drop here or pick up there? Absolutely. He is his own worst enemy Jmo

Reader is also the one patrolling the area the entire time this case went unsolved. Plenty of time to plant evidence and think of ways to set up someone. Quit asking me why people I don’t know. Because he’s unstable maybe?
