I agree. But I'm not sure LM gave a specific number for amount of dogs like the OP had asked. LM had said there were viscous dogs that someone would have to know to get past but he could have been referring to DR's house. Coonhounds aren't typically to viscous. I believe they could have other dogs as well, but I don't think we ever got a set number or what house he was specifically referring to, if not all.

He named a wolf/dog and pit bull as the vicious dogs in one interview. I don't know where they were located for sure. I thought it sounded like they were inside dogs...

This is a June 2009 photo. The trailers have been there for at least that long, if not longer, as I found a grainy photo of a trailer, in the location of CR1s, in 6/2004 too. I just really don't think anyone cared about the property lines, or, the auditor's office's sketch is really off but either way that is very little acreage to put anything on.

Wow what a change from 2006 to 2016. The property looks halfway decent there with no junk cars.

Yep. That silver car on the concrete pad is what I've identified as a Tiburon.

I'm also curious about the vehicle parked behind it. Rather nice and rather new.

Possibly BJM's when she pulled in that morning to perform her chores?

Or maybe cousin Gary in for a visit from KY to work on cars?

Or maybe an idiot investigator too lazy to walk in from the road?

Dunno.

Lovin' the hi-res photos. Kudos to all who are finding them.

Looks like the semi trailer and yellow cargo truck were there in 2009 as well.

Yes, it was in the trailer with KR's body, and the police had to get him to pacify it as it knew him, in order for them to get in. Which raises all sorts of questions about KR's death.

Not much point getting a guard dog if you let him befriend your enemy. You are so right, unless blood tests shows that the dog at KR's place and the dogs at DR's place were drugged, it had to be someone they knew. In the beginning I was sure this was a murder/suicide(KR), and that DS cleaned the place to hide it, but I understand that theory has been ruled out. Too bad, really.

I also noticed the wheelchair ramp and the condition of the concrete leading to the steps.
The concrete pad looks relatively new and I don't remember mention of any of the family that would need this type of access to the home. Another curiosity.

It looks like the ramp is over a small ravine. It may have just been an easier way to get over that...

Also just noticed the big propane/gas tank on the right side of the trailer. I've seen those used for heating but never in a trailer. What else would that be used for?

They can be used in a trailer. We have gas heat and a bottle just like this for propane.

He referred to a dog at KR's house that would "eat you up", I think were his words. I never heard any mention of viscous dogs at DR's house nor CR1 nor FR's houses. No, coon hounds are not typically a viscous dog, they bark a lot, but biting is not their trademark.

View attachment 94304Anyone find it funny that there are hardly any windows on this trailer?

If you look to the left of the ramp up towards the porch you can see what looks like a path.Ramp not been there that long? Dunno my guess.

Yeah, that is strange, almost looks like they've been covered up with extra sheet metal type stuff. Wonder if the ramp was put there for a reason too? Seems like a lot of extra work to build a ramp instead of stairs unless there was a handicap person.
Unless you had to carry parts and such in and out of there. Use a dolly to get them into the house. I know that sounds odd, but I've known friends to rebuild m/cs in their kitchen, or have parts dismantled on the kitchen table.

I can't tell what kind of vehicle that is. It looks like a Ford from the back but the front looks like a dodge.
I wonder what Chris Sr drove? Those 2 vehicles appear to be the only one that are driveable...the truck right next to the Tiburon has a paint can or something in front of it. To me it doesn't seem like a daily driver, looks like it has been setting there a while.

I've not seen any indication of him renting any property, other than him possibly renting out his own property, on Camp Creek Rd. Everything, other than Camp Creek, and this little piece that CR1's trailer has been placed on rather haphazardly, (which the st name is 3 N SIDE UNION RD C-30 / Parcel # 230077000000) is listed as et al with his three brothers, one other of which is deceased now.

Hubby asked who owned the property the pole barn is on before the current owner. I read on one of the posts that 4019 was Clarence Rhoden's address when he died, so is it possible CR1 inherited the property he owned and lived on and the parcel the barn was built on was inherited by a sibling who then sold that parcel after thebarn was built to the current owner? If that is the case I could see a huge family feud over that as that barn cost maybe tens of thousands to build.

Possibly. If there was a grow op in the trailer would there be large equipment or product that would be easier to pack in or out on wheels??

That also raises a big question for me that throws a wrench in all my theorys...why would Chris Jr's car be parked there if his body was found at danas? I'm sure a 16 yr old boy wouldn't walk all the way "home" if he had access to a vehicle.

One news channel showed pics of investigators wearing white suits, and according to the helicopter reporter it looked like suits to protect from chemicals.
They could've been doing some "cooking" in the house, then they would need a path to roll in barrels with chemicals. (Forgive me, I might've watched too much "Breaking bad")

I know Chris Graves went to Piketon over the weekend & waited for some tweets. Must have saved it for this upcoming article, I guess.

Not saying it is odd, just never seen it outside a trailer. I live in Kentucky and was raised in s. Ohio.
If they used gas for heating and water then maybe their grow op wouldn't be flagged by the electric company.
I don't think "being a trailer" has anything to do with it. Natural gas lines don't run out in the rural areas (for the most part). There is just too much land to cover. If you live in a rural area, then you most likely use propane (if you're using gas). Doesn't matter if it's a house, trailer, business, or what it is. Has absolutely nothing to do with their "grow ops".

I almost feel bad that I'm excited to hear news...especially if the reporter struggles with it. Maybe it'll be a big clue that we're all waiting for. [emoji17]
