If it was the one discussed here earlier today, it was from a classmate and had nothing to do with a pot operation. JMO

I thought the same at first until they kept going on about how this seems to be a clean crime scene and screams of being professional.

When I first heard about this, I would have bet my right arm it was someone related or very close to the family.

I may be WAY off the mark, but my impression of Leonard is that he is confused, and that he was not very close to Dana (go find out stuff at the nursing home) and that Dana was not real tight with her family. Leonard is not a Rhoden. His daughter, Dana, was. I have the impression that he did not particularly like them, and was somewhat estranged from Dana. JMO

I may be the LONE ranger here, but he just reminds me of a sweet and undereducated old country man. Probably worked hard all of his life.
IMO ~ He has not been given the chance to think anything thru at this point. Shock, grief, the media etc.
I know I would be deeply hurt to think someone has plucked a tragic moment from my life and characterized me as a result of that moment.

Looking at the ariel view of the property the shops trailers etc there is one long looking building which reminds me of a chicken house they are everywhere where I live. If it is I could see them using that bldg for a grow house, could explain the roosters caged outside. The other thing I keep reading is cartel, I'm sure if LE could easily go back the top of the totem pole is probably cartel but it all goes down through a network I'm sure it's very organized and I doubt these people dealt directly with the top but they are known to have strong affiliations with outlaw motorcycle clubs and street gangs that is where the regular folks per say get entwined. I could see a outlaw mc carrying out something like this and a killer for each place not one person doing it all. Would not be surprised if the intended target or targets were the last to die and made to watch somehow by video cell something or was shown pictures of their loved ones after the fact. Would be interesting to see if the medical examiner can tell times of death exactly who was first and last. I'm sure they probably can. Another reason I don't think cartel and lean towards another organization like a mc is because cartel killings have no mercy they torture first and children are killed just as adults. However mc clubs for example the brotherhood bond and the way they take care of each even if a brother goes in the brothers look out for his family most these guys have kids grandkids they are called uncles and by the children of other members kids. Though some are the most dangerous psychos walking many have hearts for the children and complete innocence. Just stating my opinion

KKearns, I hear you. Give the press a minute and they will catch up. Look how members here sleuthed out the FB threats before the press and then BAM here they come catching up. Besides, as LE seem to think this was pre-planned and sophisticated, with possibly multiple killers, I don't think that is the the right tree to bark up. At least not at the moment. My theories turn on a dime with each now development. Who knows what any of us will think tomorrow.

They have said the words, more than once, "many were in bed" and I can't think of a reason to send people back to the bed to kill them.

When I think of this I'm thinking more of a psychological torture. If everyone is herded into the living room by multiple armed intruders and then they're escorted one by one back to their rooms, mother's carrying their children... well hearing the subsequent gun shots would be emotionally and psychologically devastating.
I don't think that's what happened here though. Unless everyone (DR, HR and CR Jr.) started out in the trailer where CR and GR were found it would serve no purpose.
What I think the most likely scenarios are, are these:
1. KR is killed first. He has keys to other locations. Then FR, HG, DR, HR, and CR Jr. are killed. The sounds wake up GR and CR Sr who try to defend themselves which is why and how BR found them as soon as she opened the door. If you listen to the 911 tape she says "I opened the door and they were laying on the floor" or something close to that which to me indicates that those two were NOT asleep when attacked.

Or
2. GR and CR are attacked first. They fight back or at least are moved "it looks like they drug him to the back/bathroom" perhaps looking for keys to other houses. Then DR, CR Jr, HR, FR, HG and KR are killed.

Either way it is someone who either knows the dogs or knows how to distract them, either by drugging them.

It is an old rumor, media just now catching up - I think it could have been Larry Rhoden, his cousin?, whose parents took him to the police station immediately out of fear they would think he had something to do with this. I don't believe he is a POI. Whether it was his cousin or not I know his name is Larry and they had a falling out a couple of weeks ago.
