Me me as well. I would want no part of that train wreck of a situation.

Refresh my memory, does GW have full custody of his child as well? And where is the child's mom?

I don't know if GW has full custody, but if the child is up there living with him, that would appear to be "full" custody to me. I don't know who the mother is..

Did someone say ice cream? Right up my alley. Now if I can only convince my marital unit (hubs) that it's worth the 8 hour drive (round trip). Reckon what kind of ice cream it is? Any toppings included? All you can eat?

DeWine & his wife Fran do this every year. It's an old school political PR thing. Remember Fran? She's the one who told DeWine that the funny cages on the Rhoden property were for raising birds for cockfighting.

Rest assured, if you attend and ask any uncomfortable questions, you'll be quickly escorted to the exit.

ETA: If it happens, let us know. We can take up a collection for your bail! JK.

Seriously? I did not know that (was it HR?) was shot numerous times in the face! That, to me is real hatred, to totally eliminate someone's face. It's personal. Very personal imo..

I think that it was the other H- HG.

what kind of mother would let her child move thousands of miles away to live with that family? It is not like weekend visitation is possible.

Perhaps she felt like she didn't have a choice. Maybe they threatened some sort of legal action.

I've noted a "friend" who claims to be besties with one of the deceased, and maybe they were, however, besties are usually liking and commenting on each other's timelines, photos, etc... I've not seen that. I've wondered if this person has been building up their relationship with the deceased to be more than it was, for some reason. The deceased can't attest to their friendship at the time of their death.

Maybe this is generational because I think if you looked at my Facebook to guess who my closest friends were you would be pretty inaccurate. I can think of a few friends who like every single photo I ever post but probably also like every single photo anyone posts and who I probably haven't actually spoken to since the summer after high school graduation. I will also admit that I probably had hung out with one of my actual best friends about a dozen times between when she sent me a friend request and when I got around to accepting it. No, she wasn't offended I don't think she was even thinking about it we were both a bit busy living life offline.

Honestly, I mainly have Facebook at this point to maintain contact with my older relatives (who I am guessing are in your generation based on things you have posted about you, your kids, and grandkids) who don't live close to us. I post pictures so they can see our kids grow up. To be fair this group does quite religiously like and comment on my kid pictures (and some of me that my husband takes with them) but I guess it seems much more genuine to me because they watched me grow up and they do see the kids in person when my husband and I manage to coordinate two physician call schedules well enough to take vacation or entertain out of state guests.

JM would not have appeared before the grand jury. Grand juries hear from the prosecution only, there is no defense team there. The jury members determine if the prosecutor has presented enough evidence to merit an indictment or charge. If they decide in favor of the indictment, then a warrant is issued and the person who has been indicted would be arrested. JM has not been arrested on any indictments that we know of, and I believe that we would know if he had, that would be made very public.
I'm almost sure that in the state where I live that grand juries can act as an investigatory body and also issue subpoenas.

[h=2]Ohio Revised Code2939.12 Clerk of court to issue subpoenas for witnesses.[/h]When required by the grand jury, prosecuting attorney, or judge of the court of common pleas, the clerk of the court of common pleas shall issue subpoenas and other process to any county to bring witnesses to testify before such jury.

When required by the grand jury, prosecuting attorney, or judge of the court of common pleas, the clerk of the court of common pleas shall issue subpoenas and other process to any county to bring witnesses to testify before such jury.

So he could have appeared as a witness, but not as a defendant. And again, IF this had been brought to the Grand Jury, and IF JM was called as a witness, I am pretty sure we would have heard. We definitely would know if he had been indicted, because he would have been arrested.

I think that it was the other H- HG.
It was DR who was shot 5 times in the face according to her father LM.

"It's about the only thing that helps,'' said Leonard Manley, who said he can't understand why anyone would shoot his daughter five times in the face and her former husband nine times. And still, he wonders why the killers would shoot his 16-year-old grandson repeatedly as well.

Or some other kind of action. :silenced:

At 1:12, he is talking about a "conflict last saturday", the "deputy went there".*

I have a hard time with his accent, I am from the other side of the lake. What do you understand about this?

I'm not sure. Could be the road rage incident. Lots of drama for sure! I have a hard time understanding too and I am on this side of the pond. lol! :seeya: I'm still reading past threads catching up. I vividly remember the news images when this story broke though. First thought it was a family member that had gone loco. Now I just don't know. It's complicated with 4 contaminated crime scenes. I think the killer (s) DNA would not be unexpected at the crime scenes and therefore the waters are muddied. Your thoughts?

They may have used small caliber weapons and therefore, had to shoot the Rhodens multiple times to ensure each victim was dead. A smaller caliber weapon is usually more quiet than larger caliber weapons too.

Yes, she was. I was talking about one of the H's in regards to someone asking which of the 2 was shot while breastfeeding.

I thought that HMG was shot multiple times in the face, but I may be mistaken.

You will have to read on other sites to find out what happened at the "conflict last Saturday". This information has never been published in news articles and, therefore, can't be posted.

Do you like this Elton John song?

I want to go, but it is too far for me unless I hop a plane there and back. Sigh.
