Well, whoever these killers are, they better catch them quickly, because they're pure evil and they will do this again, esp since they think they've gotten away with it.

I bet they are layin' so low, praying they won't be caught.

Damn. Overkill, in my opinion. And lots of rage.

We need to know which victim was shot 9 times. That is going to tell us A LOT. Once we have that, we know who the main target was. Who the killer(s) were most angry at. That will give us a ton of answers.

I disagree. It may tell us who was shot by the hitman-in-training, who was fighting back under the influence of PCP, who was shot with an automatic weapon versus a semi-auto, who was mistaken for a bear...it could mean that person was the main target, but that is an assumption that would need to be supported by a lot of other evidence to be an answer.

From four days ago Washington Post:
"They appeared to have been killed sometime during the night because many were still lying in bed, DeWine said."
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ltiple-fatalities-being-investigated-in-ohio/

Today:
> One victim with a single gunshot wound
> One victim with two gunshot wounds
> Two victims each with three gunshot wounds
> One victim with four gunshot wounds
> Two victims each with five gunshot wounds
> One victim with nine gunshot wounds
http://www.wcpo.com/news/crime/rhod...-pike-county-massacre-multiple-gunshot-wounds

How could "many" have been asleep in bed if only one person had one gunshot wound? Do you shoot a sleeping person three times just to make sure?

  • #287
What time is that scheduled?

They didn't say, just said earlier on CNN during the segment there would be one updating later today.

  • #288
I just hope the updating presser later today is more accurate than the other pressers have been and they actually update.

IMO someone that knows what is going on needs to have a presser and get ahead of this. I would think the community is scared to death. Especially with the latest news about the deaths.

This is why I am so skeptical of what they say now. Everything they say ends up being different. The only thing that hasn't changed is the victims were Rhodens.

Also we don't know how many were beaten, the info earlier today sounds like more than one, but how many? None of this speaks to "execution style" murder they have been saying.

A friend of mine familiar with the entire southern OH area, said this:

"Im not trying to bad mouth LE in southern ohio but there is numerous unsolved murders and missing people. It has effected just about every household in one way or another. There is very little to no trust in LE locally. This said a majority of the ppl will not turn to them nor help in any investigation due to the lack of trust. It's a sad thing."

There are many others who would not agree with your friend's opinion.

How did she know THEY "drug" him? Couldn't he have drug himself?
AGAIN with the "they"
These were the 2 she said were beat up right. The rest were shot as they slept?
That is my take at this point. Hopefully we will get an update on COD today.

Could she have meant the person or persons drug the body across the floor? Maybe there was a trail of blood on the floor leading from one room to another?

Good question. Fraudqueen's husband's theory sounds very good. If victim(s) owed someone money, it was a person who wasn't interested in getting payback by stealing their pot plants or THC. It was someone known to the other victims, someone they knew the primary victim(s) owed money - for drugs, as a loan, etc.. IMO,the large number of killings was a way to send a message to others in the family & community - don't mess with me/us or you'll be next.

I lean more heavily on the message than any possibility of pay-back.

Both derby racing and 🤬🤬🤬🤬 fighting are about gambling--which happens to be a very good way to get deeply in debt to some shady folks. Not sure that's the whole story, but it's certainly a piece that makes sense.

Pure speculation here, but what if the Post Office bust involved someone that an R family member owed big bucks to. And maybe there was a tip to LE involved, purpose being to try to erase the debt by sending the shark off to prison. Just trying to think outside the box here--because this really looks BIG. Something like revenge for a stolen girlfriend is much too small. Even edging in on someone else's turf doesn't seem like it would require wiping out an entire family.

I mean family is usually going to be am early suspect, because it usually is family.

The police did say the first couple of days that the other Rhodens need to be armed and talked about protective custody even.

Yet in the article I posted earlier, they state they do not believe its family.

If I was in that community I would be very upset that they weren't on TV once a day at least saying "we have nothing new to report, but..". They have a crime to solve, but they have a community living with a killer on the loose.

Wondering if the person shot 9 times was actually in a gunfight....and was also shooting at perp(s) Also, perps could have tracked blood from one scene to the next, so if say, CRsr's blood was found at Dana's, it could be because Dana was shot AFTER Crsr. JMO And not necessarily because it was tracked in by Bobby.

That's 32 shots if I counted correctly. I would think someone would have heard something in one of the other houses around.

It is obvious to me who the police suspect in this case (since they towed the truck, busted in at 3:41 am for questioning, and have been really aggressive with, according to Leonard). So why are the police purposely leading us down a totally different road by suggesting it could be a professional hit?

That same person that police suspect said that she just wants the police to leave her alone. If I had personally discovered at least 4 of my close family members dead, I would want to do everything possible to help the police find out who did it. I would also WANT THE POLICE AROUND to PROTECT me. Unless I knew somehow that I were not in danger. Hypothetically, of course. MOO.

Cartel schmartel. There is zero chance in my mind that this was a professional hit.

JMO I wonder if LE feels that the survivors know who it is and are not telling, maybe trying to get them to break and tell who it was. idk

according to this the family has been offered protection. Not sure they taken LE up on that offer.

Yes but look at things they have stated before and then that wasn't correct. They are either bumbling fools or smart like a fox and know who the killer is and the killer has no idea.
