So they denied the two arrests BUT i don't see no denial that searches were taking place. Too many people spotted something going on. I didn't see any photos because I ain't got a clue which FB page you were talking about.

Like rsd I'd want more pictures, clearer pictures. Media blackout? Not many papers carried that scoop.

Looks like they searched but maybe didn't find enough to arrest.

Pike County massacre: 2 properties searched Thursday
PIKE COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Two properties were searched this week in connection with the Rhoden family massacre, one in Pike County and another in Scioto County, FOX19 NOW has learned.
The searches took place over several hours Thursday afternoon and evening under heavy law enforcement presence.
Agents with Ohio's Bureau of Criminal Investigation and deputies from Pike and Scioto counties were involved.
A SWAT team also was seen driving down U.S. 23 in Pike County.
The public spotted all the police activity and social media speculation quickly circulated that investigators finally had a break in what is the state's largest-ever homicide investigation.
But authorities said Thursday and Friday no arrests were made and the investigation continues.

I wonder if one branch of the law put this into motion w/o the other branch knowing, til it was over. Like, maybe Reader had no clue til the public started reacting to seeing vehicles and movement around the properties yesterday. Now they're trying to save face. One of my early theories was that a sketchy LEO was in on this, b/c something had happened, to make them fear that they may be at risk of ending up inside of a 6x9 cell.

At that point, the Wagners lived in Keani, Alaska.

Does this mean they no longer live in Kenai or no longer live in AK?

I'm thinking they moved out of Kenai.

I wonder where this originated from? Who originally posted it?

“2 arrested in connection with the Rhoden family murders that happened over 2 years ago. It will be on the 11 o’clock news. The 2 arrested were Billy Wagner Sr. and Jake Wagner.”

No arrests made in Rhoden family massacre, despite social media frenzy - Fayette Advocate

Did someone have an inside tip, but, it turned out that those two weren't there when they went out en masse to arrest them? And someone got an itchy "ENTER" finger?

Was this posted on WS, rsd? I think I was delirious last night and missed what was posted on here. - I have soo much trouble not being able to speak my mind, or to covertly cover what I'm saying. Life hazard. -

I'm sorry, I just now saw your response. I've not looked back through the thread to see if it was posted on WS, but I'm just curious as to where it first grew legs on sm, and who that first poster was.

I'll have to dig around and see if I can find it. First post out about the LE presence at the farm was by a fella named Elmer on his way to work. There are, apparently, lots of locals in those groups, including a Hatfield. The Scioto News group are very careful about what gets posted and claim to have independent, trusted informants. There's more to this story on their page, interesting stuff. I'll see if I can find the quote but there are literally over a 1000 postings from last night.

Hey, just catching up! This is interesting, from your link rsd1200

In a follow up phone call Friday morning, Tierney said that he would not comment on any law enforcement presence or activity that was allegedly taking place at the Flying W Farms in Pike County Thursday evening, but again, said that no one was taken into custody by BCI.

BBM

"No comment" on LE activity at Flying W Farms. We'll see. We're getting close to Labor Day, after which political campaigns kick into high gear. Been seeing a lot of tv ads for DeWine's opponent this week.

TBH, if any of the Wags came back from AK and were out at Flying W, Reader and BCI wouldn't care. If they wanted to arrest them, they could do so now by calling LE in AK. They haven't. The only reason they might be at Flying W, JMO, is to do some searching or talk to other people out there. As usual, they just check to see what's going on, what everyone knows.

Keep pushing.

Dewine is going to need some 'footage" for his ads so maybe we'll finally get to see all of the photos that we need.

Do you have a link? TIA

Does anyone else remember the time they did raid Flying W last year. At first LE said they hadn't searched it and that they didn't bring SWAT, but some locals got there and filmed the vehicles coming out of the drive with their cell phones. You really can't believe anything that PCSO or BCI says about raids, etc. relating to this case.

It was May 13 last year that they searched Flying W.
What would you like a link to, Betty?

If he arrests anyone, he'll likely only go after the "low hanging fruit", not the real folks behind it. After they tried to set up James Manley, they lost me.

I believe I'm not allowed to post any FB links here? Am I wrong?

The Scioto forum you mentioned. Am I misreading or were you talking about something new that just happened at Flying W this week? Apologies if I got it mixed up with the arrest rumors.

Oh, ok. Didn't realize it was FB. I don't usually sleuth there anyway.

Definitely not going after any good ole' boys. Never happen. I think there might also have been some activity in KY last night...

Apparently they raided the farm yesterday also. Also in N Webster at the home of AW's first cousin.
Scioto is on FB. should I private message it to you?
