This is why I hope they've dotted every i and crossed every t. Even if it made some folks uncomfortable. Remember the famous quote that set, imo, a murderer free? "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit."

In the link above about local residents still being nervous, many of them wondered why Fredericka and her family would take such risks to kill a family when they had so much money and land to lose. It's really strange. Agree, the locals considered them a wealthy family and she will probably spend quite a bit on her own defense, as well as the rest of her family.

Yeah, I hope they have a good case. I'm uncomfortable with the repeated assertions today by DeWine and Junk that this case will take several years to go to court. If they wait that long, there may be less chance of conviction, JMO.

Recapping everyone's current "residence" of incarceration:
1) George WagnerIII (ie Big George) in jail Lexington, Kentucky
2) Angela Jo (Mrs. BG) in Delaware County Jail, Ohio
3) George Wagner IV (Little George?) in Ross County, Ohio
4) Edward "Jake" Wagner in ???????
Is having everyone in different locations a "strategy" or "happenstance."
My thought is Big GIII, given the opportunity, would take the rap on the whole crime... as some backward sense of being "noble." However, too much, too late.

Okay, KayKay!! You brought up the subject of Fredricka Wagner (I'm sure this is ok to post, because she has now been arrested) Try not to by shocked & confused....such a strange advertisement.
01 DOGS MAIN PAGE USE
Also look at the "puppy pricing $1800 to $2100 per" !! (Lots of money, buys lots of secrets....just sayin")

In my opinion she is a very wealthy woman. It will be interesting to see what attorney she hires!

She was in a big lawsuit over mastiffs and has admitted to accidentally using dog pictures that were not hers. I am trying not to say too much. It’s hard!![/QUOTE]

Notice “In God We Trust” on the main page

Yes, but something more was going on.

Custody disputes have resulted in killing the other parent in the dispute. In one case in Canada, possibly the custodial in-laws were murdered by the new stepfather. But, to kill the inlaws, all their children and a spouse, leaving 2 little orphans? And kill an uncle?

To me, it must have been a broader "vengeance is ours" mission. And a seriously disturbed group of individuals to all act together on this. The family that kills together, stays together? I can't help but think it's the grandmother who is most emotionally invested in sole custody, and in keeping her sons close. It's also intriguingly possible it was fueled by a fantasy of moving to paradise in Alaska.

I know from others cases...not an uncommon motive really.

No, I just don't think I've ever seen it happen quite this way. They murdered the mother's brothers, mother, father, uncle, cousin, and mother of her nephew. Usually we see someone try and make the other parent disappear. Custody stuff is never great but to actually murder eight people... Wow.

I think both GW3 and AW have 2-3 sibs. I wonder if they knew? If not, then their worlds are torn apart too, in addition to the lives of their children. Just selfish and brutal people.

Edward is in franklin county Ohio. I posted the link a page or two back.

That’s an excellent point. If he was only concerned with his political aspirations, the arrest would have been a boon to his gubernatorial campaign.

I don’t know much about him, but I certainly respect him for that.

I respect him for that as well. I always thought the four Wagner family members did it, but I lost hope there would ever be an arrest.

This past summer while on vacation, we took a very long detour to drive down Union Hill Road. That place is still very fresh in my mind.

There will be justice for the victims. For the living victims, there will hopefully be some relief with the arrests and hopefully a measure of comfort when justice is served. The children who are victims are particularly heartbreaking, and I can't even find the words to describe the total loss that little Sophia has suffered, and all at the evil hands of the people who became her entire world.

Do we know what jail the grandmothers are in?

And driving around the country with those big horse trailers. Wonder what they were hauling?
I wonder which ten states they found evidence in (per DeWine). Obviously OH and Alaska, maybe KY. But the other seven he said investigators traveled to collect evidence? And was that evidence carried there by JW on a semi truck or employees of the Flying W ranch on horse runs?

Looks pretty intentional, IMO. Keeping the vipers out of the same pit.

Maybe they went out of state to acquire guns from different people?

Very likely. I also wonder if they traveled to any of the states between Ohio and AK where the W's were questioned during their relocation to Kenai.

So they killed off every family member who could have possibly gotten custody of the daughter and thought nobody would find out? SMH
In related news, I read in the timeline article Timeline: 2016 Pike County massacre that LE removed video from a church “up the road”. I wonder if they saw the W vehicle(s) on that (like in the Heather Elvis case) since they may not have known about them.
imo

That's what I don't understand. Is there something that I've missed? I've not gotten far in the indictments, but there has to be more, b/c he got awarded custody. Other family members could have applied. If only HMR disappeared, it would seem he'd still gain custody.

A 16 y.o. child would not, nor could not, go for custody. HHG and FR might seek custody, but they had their plates full. GR, a suspected addict/recovering addict, and 2nd cousin, would very likely not seek custody. Uncle KR would not have likely sought custody.

I could see JM and AM seeking custody, or KR2, or BJM might would have, or LM and Jdy, but the others just don't make sense except for HMR's parents, and CR2 b/c he was there, I guess. I think that there was a hatred that had built up there between old friends and former business partners.

I did read something. on the former thread, where someone said it had been planned for eight months! That would have been around the end of August, 2015. That is around the time that she cut ties w/JW, for good, and conceived K. Soooo... there's that, too.

Hi DEX...WagnerIII and Angela moved to Kenai, Alaska one month after the May 2017 search warrants of their properties...so guessing they moved there June 2017. WagnerIII said they moved there with sons & grandchildren to avoid media scrutiny. (Anywhooo, that is the short version of a long story.) Was the death of another relative unexpected, untimely or suspicious?? (You always asks great questions!) It appears they had moved back (or visiting?) from Alaska when arrests occurred
Thanks IQ. I haven't seen you in a minute. Good job. Glad you're well.

Pike County murders: Alaska pastor says Ohio family of interest attended church Sunday

“Jake Wagner and Angela Wagner told the Cincinnati Enquirer this month they were not involved in the killings.

“Please let’s concentrate on finding the real monsters who did this,” Jake Wagner said in a combined email from him and his mother, the newspaper reported June 8.

“What has happened to us in the last few weeks has been devastating and will follow us for the rest of our lives,” Angela Wagner wrote in an email to the Enquirer. “Hanna was loved by all of us. She was like a daughter to me then and now.”

Angela was right! It will follow them for the rest of their lives.

They're in separate facilities to prevent them from communicating with one another.
Either through a friendly guard, trustee, medical staff person etc.

As a volunteer Chaplin I saw how male and female inmates in the single cell area of Dallas County jail communicated. On different floors. It was crazy.
They would dip the water out of their toilets and yell back and forth. This only worked for cells on top of each other. This was called 'talking on the pipes' They would also yell into the intercom speaker and the sound would travel to other cells. This was 'Talking on the mic'

They don't won't the Wagner's to get on the same page with their "story" imo.
