from personal experience LE always exaggerate and I don't mean a little when it comes to the value of marijuana plants. Believe me, 200 isn't a lot, if your growing all year round you have clones mothers some in veg some in buddin, etc etc and if they had a lot of daily tokers throughout the family and friends it wouldn't leave a whole lot for sale.
As for a link to Pike and the Cartel, it could be something as simple as the guy getting busted for the weed once bought meth or coke from the 3rd cousin of suspected cartel member.

Its retribution for something centering around Chris Sr. plain n simple. I'm going to wipe your family out. They did.

I believe the 200 was just one location. We aren't certain of the total.

So,do we agree that its probably some family people who did this? JMO

i think its likely the killers had inside info, where it came from is the big ?

Agreed. We all have guns out here. Because if someone breaks into a house in the country, they aren't breaking in for an Xbox, and they are likely armed themselves. LE is typically not close by, like our nearest is 30 minutes, and they don't patrol these parts because they are busy in the cities and towns, they aren't on back country roads that only locals are traveling to get home or go somewhere. I've lived in this particular spot for 6 years. I have seen a cop TWICE in this area. Both times they were called. They don't sit and clock people, they aren't driving around seeing what everyone is doing, much more activity is going on outside of our area. Hearing gun shots is normal, because everyone has guns. They are out hunting, trapping and killing what they caught, practice shooting. It's not odd to see someone with a gun strapped to their belt or to be riding around on a four wheeler in the fields with a 12 gauge laying across the front and a dog following behind.

these victims HAD to of had guns.. so dogs never alarmed them and they had no time to get guns,,, both is very odd, they probably slept w guns!

A name made up for Leonard and I'm not sure why..

Good Lord, like we need more names to keep straight in this case? *sigh*
Sorry for sounding irritated, I just have wasted a bunch of time searching for who this is in the cast of characters.

I've done genealogical research for 30 years, specifically in Appalachia. Naming a younger son after the father isn't common, but it does happen. I would guess it happens less than 10% of the time. The times I've seen it usually coincide with a recent death of a male family member and a first-born son is named in his honor instead of the father Curiously, I've also found that the father's name is often reserved for a younger son when the first-born son is born with some type of birth defect. That makes me sad, but I've seen it often enough to mention it.
I agree. My ex pushed to name our son, and first born, after a deceased brother. I declined.

As far as distribution, they just need someone to get in a car and drive to a big city.
Well no.. You can't just go in and start selling. If they did that, could be why they are dead.

I just wanted to say hazmat wears more than just the white suits of these investigators. A local said on one of the threads here that was not hazmat. We don't know if hazmat has been there, but I found some photos of other incidents there with hazmat.

You are correct. In incidents like this, investigators typically where white suits in to not disrupt the evidence.

IF they were all on the same cycle. Many growers have plants harvesting at different times to lighten the trimming load at once. Basically so that all 200 plants aren't ready at once. JMO.
We are getting ready to ask you what your expertise is on the indoor ops lol

I sleep with a gun right next to my bed, my husband has one right next to him as well. My father in law sleeps with one under his pillow. It's VERY common. These people had guns, they were hunters. Leads me to believe again, this is someone they knew.

It could involve some family from another state.

The truth of the matter is that probably everyone in that town was a member of their family in some way.

Kind of impressed that we've brought in 3 cannabis 'experts' today. This definitely adds a degree of understanding to an area of the case that we've been a bit foggy in.

Respectfully, its pot ---- not being snarky-- I see more hot air-- its pot find out who wiped out 8 human beings !

I'm just saying.. Trimming is a process and a half, nobody would do 200 at once, and if they did, they had A LOT of helpers. Just a handful of plants can take days to trim down (depending on how well they trim them down) not to mention the drying process. I doubt all 200 were in the exact same process. JMO. Any other questions, please ask ;)

His nickname. Taken from his last name. Manley become "Manny" the same as someone named Jones might be called "Jonesy". or Smith, "Smitty".

So you think that its outsiders who got inside information from an "insider" or former insider with a big revenge impulse? JMO

I get confused about why the distance between Kenneth and the rest of the victims is so significant. I know this could possibly make him an outlier, but it's also possible that it's not significant. I think whoever did this, wanted all of them dead, and they would have planned this even if each of the homes were ten miles apart. I think it just happened to be convenient for the killer(s) that most of the victims were in close proximity.

Know what I mean?

For me, Kenneth being killed is a bit like "which of these things is not like the other." CRsr' s family (ex-wife & kids) killed along with a cousin and fiancee living there, close proximity.

Kenneth is a drive away. He's CRsr' s brother, but there are other CRsr siblings and they are not killed, snd surely not much of a drive away either.

So I guess we have to "ignore" that Kenneth is a brother and know exactly what else connects them. So, he becomes a key piece, in my mind, for that reason. JMO.

Or someone who knows how to quickly incapacitate dogs, temporarily.

I don't think a typo, as I've seen it a few times over these threads. Not sure it's his nickname either, as I didn't find it googling either. Well, now I know. I just hope others don't go on a wild goose chase to figure it out, lol.
Maybe we should stick to real names or initials? There's enough to keep straight with just those. MOO.
