Warren police seek help in finding missing woman

WARREN —

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who has been missing for several weeks. Warren police say Regina “Gina” L. DiCenso, 53, who is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 112 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen in the area of Belvedere Avenue Southeast with an unidentified black male and an unidentified white female in a gray sport utility vehicle.

Warren police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who disappeared over two months ago...

According to DiCenso’s daughter, her mother has a drug addiction. The last time she talked with her a man got on the phone and said Regina stole 14 bindles of heroin from her and that she needed to pay for the drugs.

“She has always contacted her family in the past, even if she has gone out of town and the family has not heard of her or seen her since the day she left the Belvedere Street address,” said Detective Patrick Marsico.

Details of Disappearance​

DiCenso was last seen in the vicinity of Belvedere Avenue southeast in Warren, Ohio on May 7, 2014. She was in a gray SUV with an unidentified Caucasian female and African-American female at the time. She lived on South Street southeast at the time of her disappearance. Her daughter, Danielle Lindic, reported her missing on May 9.

According to Lindic, at 8:30 a.m. the day she disappeared, DiCenso called her crying and said she needed money. A man got on the phone and said DiCenso had stolen fourteen bindles of heroin from him and she needed the money to pay him back. Lindic knew the man as "JB" or "Jimmie" and believed she lived somewhere on either Washington Street or Greenfield. This was the last time she heard from Dicenso; she has never been heard from again.

Foul play is suspected in DiCenso's case, as it's uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning. One theory is that she became a victim of sex trafficking. Her disappearance may be drug-related.

Should the she be a he in the above sentence?
If it is and the daughter knew this information I wonder if the cops ever found a suspect? I wonder if the daughter knew him or knew of him? It seems like the police would be able to track the man down. Usually cops know who the drug dealers are or where drug activity is happening on these 2 streets. This information combined with the vehicle description that she was last seen in should have been helpful in getting a lead.
