Carroll added CPD's investigation indicated Russell had been dead between 24-36 hours. That did not match the timeline of events in the Ohio case. But this afternoon, Assistant Chief Carroll said solid evidence developed, "About an hour ago we got confirmation from dental records that it is in fact Richard Russell. According to what we were told they were killed in Ohio and dumped here." The autopsy also revealed the 84 year old man had been stabbed in the chest, with the wound "penetrating the heart."

I read in one article (but now can't find the article) that it was a "blunt stab wound." I don't remember seeing that before. What kind of weapon would that be? Screwdriver maybe?
