This seems ominous!

Apparently Bobby left his house to go "driving around with a friend".. According to this friend, Bobby got a text, and at that point, he asked to be dropped off at Dee's Dairy Bar. He got out of his friends car and hopped into a black sedan with black tinted windows. He hasn't been seen since. It's been noted that he texted people that evening and said he was with his ex girlfriend, but the girlfriend said they were not together that night and she hadn't even talked to him since July 4th, two days before he went missing..

Two arrests for possession of drugs in 2017 (Clermont Co. County Court Records free public access). Search Results - CourtView Justice Solutions

I'm concerned he's still using and went out to make a purchase and it went badly.

dark car with tinted windows does sound ominous.

My auto has tinted windows they are very common and look cool. Did he jump in back seat or passengers seat? The business would probably have cameras maybe. You do not usually get in a car for a personal amount buy. Usually get in a car to discuss or go somewhere.

The area is close to the Ohio river and it’s unfortunately, a lot of people end up there. I hope it’s not the case for this young man. I live about 15-20 minutes from that area.

Thanks for the local information, @mrsNKY, it's always most helpful.

Hoping that he will be found soon and that he will be fine and healthy.

Is there any proof that he got into that tinted-window car? Any video?

Or is it only on the word of the last person to see him?

No cameras at business but there are two traffic cams on 52 on either side of the business. I hope the police are looking at those cams.

Nothing in MSM yet about him being found. Family responds in comments of the link above. Will post update as soon as released.

EDITED TO ADD: I just realized this is the same article that @mrsNKY posted upthread.

Bobby was found deceased.

NEW RICHMOND, Ohio — A 23-year-old man from New Richmond has been found dead, a week after he went missing, his family confirmed Tuesday.

The mother of Robert "Bobby" Farrell Jr. said he was found dead Monday night.

"This week has been pure torture. The most horrific and agonizing pain I hope no one in the world ever has to go through," his mother said Tuesday.

The young dad had been missing since July 6, when he was last seen going for a drive with his best friend, his family said.

Family members said his best friend, Keyanta Gardner, told them he took Farrell to nearby Dee's Dairy Bar, where Farrell got into a black car with tinted windows.

They said Farrell sent text messages that night saying he was with an ex-girlfriend but she told them he was not.

New Clermont County court records show Gardner has been arrested for tampering with evidence.

They also show a charge of obstructing official business was filed but dismissed.

According to a Clermont County criminal complaint, Gardner admitted to making false and misleading statements to Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation agents since Farrell's disappearance.

The complaint reads, "On 7/11/2021 during a voluntary interview with Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation agents, Keyanta Gardner knowingly made false and misleading statements in an attempt to mislead the investigation into the disappearance of Robert Farrell Jr. Gardner admitted to making false and misleading statements to investigators since Farrell's disappearance on 7/6/2021."

Family members said Farrell didn't take his wallet, cash, cards or ID and did not have a driver's license or a car.

Gardner is booked in the Clermont County Jail.

His bond is set at $100,000.

He is set to have a preliminary hearing next Wednesday afternoon.

Farrell leaves behind a 4-year-old daughter.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation has been handling the case. WLWT is working to confirm details of his death with the Ohio BCI.

So his "best friend" lied about Bobby getting into the black sedan. Wow. Some friend!

I noted there were no charges related to the death itself. But 100,000 bond seems unusually high for a charge of obstruction. I don't think LE has released all the pertinent details yet. My thoughts go out to his family. What a painful event to go through.

oh wow his best friend :(

Drugs and drug related crime continue to be a major problem in Ohio, especially these rural and small town areas. It's so sad.
