Judith Hawkey physically and emotionally twisted her son into killing Robert Breininger, which would have gotten her a $500,000 insurance payday.
An Ohio woman was sentenced to life in prison Thursday for manipulating her stepson through physical and emotional abuse into murdering his father and claiming it was an accident back in 2003, authorities said........
Their son, who will not be charged, testified at Hawkey's trial. She abused him for at least three years before the murder and continued to do so afterward, according to Murray.
