CHESAPEAKE Shane Cubbage testified Tuesday that the night before he killed his father, he went to bed angry and thinking of ways to end his dads life. It was the evening of May 4, 2003, and the fourth and last time Forrest G. Cubbage would force his son to perform oral sex, Shane Cubbage testified. This last time, the father went even further, Cubbage said.

He was the last of four witnesses to testify Tuesday during what is expected to be a three-day sentencing hearing before Judge V. Thomas Forehand Jr.
Cubbage, 16 at the time of the killing, entered a conditional plea of guilty in October to first-degree murder. The conditional plea will allow him to appeal certain pretrial rulings to a higher court.
