On Jan. 12 at 4:00 p.m., Robert Harper, 87, left his assisted living facility in his vehicle and never returned, according to authorities.
He suffers from dementia and is diabetic. The vehicle he was driving is a Fifth Avenue Chrylser with the plate number DKL4223.
The incident took place in Montgomery County on 5790 Denlinger Road in Dayton.
Anyone who has seen Harper is asked to call the Ohio Attorney General Missing Persons Unit at 1-866-693-9171 or call 911.
Statewide missing adult alert issued for 87-year-old man
Robert J. Harper left his assisted living facility in the 5700 block of Denlinger Road at 4 pm Sunday in his vehicle and didn’t return. Harper has dementia and diabetes.
Harper is described as a black male, 5’11” and weighing 220 pounds. He has white hair and brown eyes. The vehicle involved is a blue 1992 Fifth Avenue Chrysler with Ohio plate #: DKL4223.
Endangered Missing Adult Alert issued for Dayton man
According to the release, Harper left his assisted living facility at around 4 p.m. on Jan. 12 in his vehicle, a 1992 Chrysler Fifth Avenue with license plate number DKL4223. He failed to return.
The assisted living facility is at 5790 Denlinger Road in Dayton.
The Montgomery County Sheriff has asked for the public to call 911 if they see Harper or his vehicle.
