Toledo Police are looking for a 51-year-old man reported missing after he visited the Clyde area almost a week ago.

Robert Scheid, a Toledo resident originally from Clyde, was visiting the area around July 10 when he became ill and was hospitalized, according to a Toledo Police Department social media post.

After he was released, the post said, he was heading back to Toledo but never arrived home.

Due to his medication history, police say there is concern for his safety.

He was last seen driving his 2018 black Kia Rio four-door sedan with Ohio license plate EP40EV.

Call 911 or 419-255-1111 if you see Scheid or his vehicle.

It would have been around an hour drive from the hospital in Clyde to Toledo. That might have been too much for him after just getting discharged:

I hope they can find him quickly. Rather than driving on the one of the highways, he might have taken some more local roads, where he might have gone off the road. I know if I'm not feeling great, I avoid the major highways.

Someone comments of the Toledo PD post that he has been found deceased, but I can't find any confirmation for that.
