Columbus police believe that the body of a woman removed from a shallow grave in a Groveport field this morning is that of a woman who had been missing for two weeks...

Police and coroner’s officials gathered outside Madison Christian Church at 3565 Bixby Rd. this morning. The scene is clearing now.

A Far West Side man charged today with killing his pregnant girlfriend beat her with a baseball bat and strangled her before burying her in a Groveport field, Columbus police said...

“She was trying to get the relationship to work because of the baby,” Sheridan said. “She was so happy about the baby.”

This one is way too close to home. I grew up there and know several who attend that church.

I am so sorry to any family or friends of hers who may read this one day.

Looks can be deceiving. Was he doing drugs? Why was he taking money from her purse? He doesn't look like a killer. I guess they mostly never do. Eg:Scott Peterson, Jodi Arias, etc.

On Thursday, prosecutor Ron O'Brien said Ferrero was indicted on seven counts, including aggravated murder, two counts of murder, aggravated arson, tampering with evidence, and gross abuse of a corpse.

Ferrero is scheduled to be arraigned on November 3.
