Griffin, 49, along with two co-defendants, was accused of causing the Jan. 4, 1989, death of James Steurer Sr. She was convicted and sentenced to 30 years to life in prison in 1990 on felony charges of complicity to commit aggravated murder with aggravated robbery and fire specifications, complicity to unlawful possession of a dangerous ordinance, complicity to grand theft and complicity to aggravated robbery with a firearm specification, court records show.
Coshocton County Prosecutor Jason Given said he is hopeful the ruling will allow some closure for the victims family.
