OH - Spencer and Monique Tepe found shot to death at home 2 children unharmed, Columbus, 30 December 2025

So, it seems we indeed have two 9-1-1 calls from their home relating to domestic violence concerns in the years they’ve lived there.
Where did you read that?

If you take a step back and see what the BIL has been doing, it is just positive PR for how wholesome of a family the Tepes were. He is defending their reputation more than trying to find the murderer. In fact, he was trying to be neutral about the POI. No appeal from anyone in the family to find the murderer AFAIK. What does that tell you? I still think it is murder-suicide that the loved ones are trying to cover. JMO. We will know soon enough once the Police release all reports of their investigation.
Maybe? What makes you think this?

Yeah, I think he had a non-compete based on the lawsuit over non-compete from the dentist at office where S.T. previously worked.

I also wonder how long has he been at the new dentistry practice, because some articles say he recently started working there?
I missed that about the lawsuit from his former employer. Can you provide a link to that? Thanks.

No, but if anyone has issues like that keep it in your home. That's the problem. Everyone is performative now. Everyone wants to make a scene. Why? Because everyone feels they're on a tv show. People who keep things private stay out of trouble.
I find your attitude towards victims of domestic violence very troubling. Keeping such problems inside the home is what has led to the death of many women. This has nothing to do with wanting to be performative. You can only control your own actions, not those of anyone else.

And I do remember being a houseguest once and having a very upsetting interaction with my then-boyfriend after we all had gone to bed. I kept it private. But looking back on it, I should have instead dramatically left in the middle of the night, setting off any house alarms, taken my car, and driven to a hotel. Being a demure houseguest was not worth my trauma.

You seem to be implying that she could have avoided the whole situation by not fighting with her man. That’s victim-blaming at its finest. And you want to know what set off my then-boyfriend on that occasion I reference above? His brother-in-law that evening had brought up a recent movie. That’s it. He was triggered by the mention of a movie. I wasn’t even the one who mentioned it.

Go to free people search and search the address and/or names
Please provide a link in MSM for the name you are looking up. I haven't seen that reported in MSM, so I may have missed it. Thanks.

Doesn't rule out the murder-suicide theory if the weapon was taken by a "well-wisher" who wanted to shelter the family and kids from the shame of such a thing. Remember that some friends and co-workers arrived at the scene before LE did. They could have compromised the crime scene with no evil intent - just misguided good intent.
This is possible. However, they would've been walking down the street at 2:30 am. Maybe in a car parked out back (at that time). Another possibility is that it was from next door, and the location was miscalculated. None of these seems likely.

In your theory, what happened to the murder/suicide weapon? Are you saying that the family tampered with the crime scene and hid the weapon?

Speculation, thinking aloud: I wonder if Spencer was out of the bedroom when first shot, in a confrontation with the killer. Perhaps he made it back to the bedroom when he was shot again and then Monique was shot.

Though, we don't know for sure were Monique was.

I've been sort of assuming they were in bed asleep and then awoken by the perp, but we don't know that for sure. What we do know is Spencer was found somewhere near the bed.

Also, the three casings was from the police dispatch. Was it later confirmed publicly by police? It may have been and I didn't see it. If not, it is totally possible they found more casings or the autopsies revealed additional wounds and they never found the casings. I believe the no gun was also the police dispatch but later confirmed by police in statements.

If I'm walking down a street and feel the need to call 911, the dispatcher will likely ask me my location and I will look to the closest house/business I can see and give them that address. Could this have happened in the April call attributed to the Tepes house? I have no idea.
Yes, absolutely. What do people think happens during a 911 call to report an auto accident, especially one with injury?

If it were murder/suicide, and the reports on number of shots fired into each victim are true, MT would have to be the killer. Surely a gun residue test on her would quickly provide an answer to that question. Over a week later it seems clear it was not murder/suicide.
In your theory, why would MT have to be the killer?

I don't know where the casings were found. I've been assuming in the bedroom, but I don't think we know that.

When police arrived, they would have been able to determine that, correct? Or the medical examiner? But again, where is the gun?

There's no MSM link, people have been poking around on those People Search websites and saw that a woman was listed under the Tepes' address.

However, when you actually click on this woman's name it shows she lives in a house close by them. She is not actually listed as living at their address and there are no records suggesting such. Those sites are notoriously reliable so I think it's a red herring and shouldn't be ran with. JMO though.

RSBM

It tells me that they were a loving family who want to protect the memory of their loved ones. Any family would do the same thing.

Even considering a murder suicide is a waste of time. All evidence is pointing away from that

This is not correct. The BIL gave an interview yesterday stating that the other incident was related to a visitor's mental health condition. I don't think it is really clear that a 911 call was made regarding this prior incident. There is also no proof that the 911 call in April 2025 was even made inside the home.
The BIL was aware of the content of the call when he gave that interview, and the substance of that call related to a perceived problem with an intimate partner. It was the BIL who made the connection to the earlier incident, so it is reasonable to conclude the incident he was thinking of was similar.

Wasn't the current POI walking in the alley behind the Tepe's home between 0200-0500?

People call 911 outside of homes all the time.

Right now there is a medical emergency dispatched on I-270 PulsePoint Respond

I believe the police stated there was no murder weapon present at the crime scene so they ruled out M/S.

Forensics should be able to make further determinations.

If someone is talking about crime scene tampering by amateurs, usually it is apparent to LE because mistakes are made and the staging is not done well.

I think the autopsy and forensic results will shed more light on the subject.

I'm not considering murder/suicide at all. In addition to the wounds and the lack of a weapon, I don't think a mother (assuming MS is the implied aggressor with fewer shots reported) would have left the children with no rescue in sight.

There's no way to know how long a 1 and 4 year old would have been alone had it not been for the quick and persistent response of ST's coworkers and the friends/neighbors. Even if it was a heat of the moment type of decision, I think she would have texted someone or called 911 to get the kids before she killed herself.

In an M/S scenario, even an unplanned one, one of them is alive after the first death. I don't see either of them being okay with leaving their kids in danger, even if they were set on ending things for themselves.

Good points!

Here is where I am leaning.. but these are JUST GUESSES!

1) Some sort of a love triangle.
2) A family member with the big brothers family he was helping who was avenging something they thought or were told alleged to have occurred.
3) Break in from a family member or friend for unknown reason/avenging.
4) Random stranger who broke in to get money or drugs and just kill (sort of like Bryan Kohberger).

Any others???
An ex of someone close to the Tepe's, could have been someone that stayed with them in the past, knew the home and routine. I wonder if there is some significance with the date too?
