NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — An Amber Alert was issued by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office for 1-year-old Steele Colt Estep. It was canceled a few hours later after Estep was found safe.

I understand that the child was found safe and the amber alert cancelled. Had the child still been assaulted though found? The article that I read did not disclose.
