But, why would she even say is it possible the victim is not telling the truth? I find that odd when the victim found out through social media. Why can't these people and the guys involved just face all this responsibly. I'm not sure what they think they have to gain by denying so much, but they're making themselves look bad IMO.

It doesn't look like, and I don't think that, Dr. Phil will soft pedal this.

This is daytime TV, so calling it "booze, possible roofies, and alleged rape and sodomy" would probably bring too much heat, and scare too many soccer Moms away. Remember, this will be shown in Iowa and Wyoming. This isn't Jerry Springer. Yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have a viewer warning, they will show little or none of the infamous 12-minute tape, and they will leave out some of the gory details.

Why wasn't a warrant issued to seize the families computers and also look for roofies?

In my opinion, the title for this program should be "In Defense of Steubenville and the Accused.." Here is a preview: Dr. Phil calls the victim "a party girl" and says we shouldn't judge her for that. They are just kids, we should fix their lives, not ruin them. I am so angry I am speechless. I hope someone else can articulate this better than I can. To the football player belongs the spoils is still the attitude toward rape, even gang rape. Wow. The glorification of jocks runs deep. Don't watch this if you don't want to be upset. This my impression.
