Local school paraprofessional accused of raping disabled student

A local school paraprofessional is facing criminal charges after police allege she raped a 15-year-old at their home.

Sandusky County authorities confirm to 13 Action News that Christin Coble was charged with rape after the alleged assault at the teen’s home on Jan. 6. The student was at home that day due to the district’s closure for inclement weather, investigators said.

Woodmore schools paraprofessional arrested on rape charge

Christin Coble, 45, was charged for allegedly committing sexual acts on a 15-year-old. According to the victim's mother, Coble was inside the victim's home Monday afternoon. The mother claimed she saw Coble committing sexual acts on her son, who the Sandusky county prosecutor said has an IQ of 58.

The bond was set at $100,000 with a requirement of cash surety and a command to have absolutely no contact with the family.
