Authorities already were looking for a potential link. But now, Lavender said, the fact that two bodies were found in the same general area of what he called a nature preserve, “causes worry.”

“Somebody brought them out here,” he said of the women’s bodies. “It’s a remote area, and no one who slips in would be easily seen. Hopefully, we can find who brought them out here.”

Irony; the Huffington Post article linked above was written by David Lohr. Lohr was indirectly responsible for the identification and eventual apprehension of serial killer BTK; Dennis Rader..

Sayre’s relatives gathered there, too. Her father, Thomas Kuhn, said detectives had earlier taken them back to the site where his daughter had been found. Even though it was almost too much to bear, the family isn’t backing down until the other women are found and someone answers for these deaths, he said.

“Someone is doing this,” he said. “They’ll get caught. I know they will. Because no one here is going to stop until they’re caught.”

Families of Missing Women Trying to Stay Positive after Tiffany Sayre's Body Found

Sadly, too many innocent victims never come to light. Maybe in time. But first, there must be darkness present for the light to shine through..
I can't get past the haunting coincidence of locating the remains of a person which was thought to be unrelated to a previous body found nearby of another missing person.

My heart is torn for Tiffany Sayre's children and family, as well as the many other families of the missing and murdered victims, who in a blink of an eye, have been involuntarily inducted into the rapidly growing fraternity of the new life's normal.. <which means that their lives will never be the same as it was the day before their love ones tragically went missing>..

I didn't want to say in case that was rude, but are these women sex workers? Who else has "business" at a hotel?

There have been multiple cases of serial killers across America targeting sex workers. We had a recent case here in Southern California quite recently - several sex workers went missing and/or were found dead. Two men were connected to many of those disappearances.

Very sad stuff. This is an extremely vulnerable population.

My thoughts exactly, its a very dangerous profession

Chillicothe is no longer just another Rust Belt town. Now it’s the place where women go missing and wash up dead.

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WCMH) – Ohio-Tips from the public have doubled since Monday’s release of information by task force members after Tiffany Sayre’s body was recovered.

A Ross County Sheriff Lieutenant Mike Preston said tips could very well solve these cases of area missing and dead women.

Investigators and neighbors said an area around Bridge and Second Streets in Chillicothe could have played a part in the disappearances and death of all the women.

No tip left unturned by missing women task force - June 23, 2015

Ross County sheriff's Chief Deputy T.J. Hollis, commander of the task force, said each tip is cataloged and summarized to be evaluated by investigators.

"Nothing is ever thrown away," Hollis said. "The obvious things that require immediate attention go right to the investigators."

Hollis said most calls go to the task force voice mail for a reason.

"Voice mail lets folks express themselves without us interrupting," Hollis said. "Then we can assess the information."

June 28, 2015: Chillicothe, it’s time we stepped up
Read more: http://www.chillicothegazette.com/s...2015/06/28/chillicothe-time-stepped/29397465/

Our first opportunity comes Monday, when law enforcement officials will gather with members of our government, religious, and business community in a show of force against the darkness that has overtaken us. They’ll meet on the steps of the Ross County Courthouse and announce a new resolve to combat the ills we face.

They’ve created the plan, but we have to help. We can start by showing up, en masse, to the courthouse and showing them we are truly behind them. We need a crowd so big that everyone — but particularly the drug dealers, pimps, and criminals — must take notice.

At 2 p.m. Monday, it’s time to take action. It is time for the residents of Chillicothe to begin to take their town back. We’ll see you there.
