strange one this! someone just posted a pic in the comments of my fb post in a group called unidentified and unclaimed people in the 1930- 2017.
I'm pretty much upto date with buckskin case but a pm on fb someone suggested bs had a gap in between her front two teeth!?
I'm pretty sure bs didn't but as anyone else read that she had a gap? and if so what is the source of info

As far as I know, BG doesn't have a gap, but one of her top incisors has a crown (#8 tooth, I believe). CarlK would know for sure, hopefully he will pop on and clarify, but I don't recall her having a gap.

From her wiki page.
Her personal hygiene was described to be well maintained, and all of her teeth, including the wisdom teeth, were in good condition and had no evidence of fillings or other dental work, except for a porcelain crown on her upper-right incisor.[SUP][17[/SUP]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckskin_Girl

They may be confusing her with Arroyo Grande Jane Doe, who has a gap between her right incisors.

I believe the woman who put the pic of girl with gap in her teeth actually got it from carlks pictures she may not even be missing it was a random yr book photo with no name

Seems like most anybody who might be a match for BG might also be a candidate for Arroyo Grande Jane, and vice versa. Timelines and descriptions are similar.

Yes, I think you posted the link to the Allenstown adult female in that reply, which threw me off. I didn't think to check BG's NamUs, because you had mentioned Patricia was being considered for another Jane Doe and I thought your reply was in reference to my question as to whom she was also being considered. Thanks for the correction. I'm glad they listed her finally. I figured once they got tired of fielding the inquiries about her that they would list her, even though she was from Canada.
I wish I knew what identifier they used to eliminate her, because Doe doesn't list any for her. If they based it on some mole or scar, or the time between her disappearance and the discovery of Jane Doe, they've done her a disservice.

OT: What are you doing in Germany?? I hope it's for fun!
Yeah, I was looking at Allenstown Jane's ruleouts before I checked BG's page and crossed myself up with copy and paste. It was late here 😴

Yes, all fun. Middle Carbuff son works here, so we're vacationing with him and our incredibly cute smart wise and charming grandson 😆

Alley...what do you mean? Do you mean they might not have used DNA,.and that BS could still be Patricia?? Aren't they 100% sure someone is not the Doe before they rule out? And why do they say birth unknown and origin unknown when I thought the sisters said 15 in 1973... Born in 56 or 57 and from Canada. I'm confused now. Those features will still haunt me rule out or not.

Hopefully they used DNA!!!

According to Patricia's Doe page, DNA is not available. Neither are fingerprints or dental records. I'm not sure what they used to rule her out. I have no idea if her family actually gave their DNA, her sister only said that they offered to give it, not that officials actually took it. At the very least, I hope they presented BG's photos to someone in her family and they nixed the match. She deserves a rule out based on biometrics, if that weren't done.
My concern is that investigators didn't look past the mole near Patricia's upper lip (which BG doesn't have, but could have been removed) or didn't take a second look because of Patricia's date of disappearance and the date BG was found, as if missing persons can't be alive after they go missing and die later.
I'm not sure if I contacted NamUs if they would tell me what was used to rule her out. I would be happy if I could confirm that the RCMP was even contacted and they compared.

I would like to think they're 100% sure it isn't her. I usually don't second guess, but according to Doe Network, Patricia doesn't have DNA, fingerprints or dental records, so I'm not sure how they ruled her out.
I'm not sure why NamUs lists unknown for her DOB or her location, but I'm thinking it's because she's from Canada, maybe, and they don't usually list people from other countries on the rule out list.

Namus is for US cases, so her other information isn't available in the database. I'm just glad somebody took the time to enter the ruleout by hand.

As for what grounds--because she's Canadian, her DNA wouldn't be in Codis anyway and any matches would need to be done by hand, as would dental or fingerprint comparisons. The databases don't always indicate when information is available elsewhere.

We have no info that BG had a gap between her teeth. She did have a crown on her upper front tooth, so it is possible that she had a gap prior to receiving the crown, and it is possible the crown was made a little wide to close the gap.

So with that in mind, she probably didn't have a gap, but we can't rule out that the possibility she might have had a small gap between her prior to getting the crown.

Thanks....I hope they were sure too. It's scary though that it could possibly still be. The DNA is really the 100% thing. Did any of you ever go into crimewatchers.com? I saw on there that Patricia S is being considered for Arroyo Grande. I read that Arroyo has a blue S tattoo on wrist and that it was new...fresh..when she was found. Maybe that could be a clue. Is there a thread for Arroyo on here? I've only read Buckskin and Walker County.

Hey guys, I'm new to this thread and I looked through missing persons databases myself and found some MPs I'd like to share with you, but first I wanted to ask if there's a list somewhere of missing persons that have already been ruled out (officially and by other WS members) that I can compare my findings to?
