Lucie was supposed to go to Vancouver with her friend. I wonder if her friend was reported missing? Maybe they decided to run away together instead of going to Vancouver? There's so little information about her disappearance arghhhh

  • #2,643
yeah, totally agree bur I still need police help xx

Lucy appears to have a mole on her upper chest. Did BG have said mole?

You definitely need to submit Lucie! It's probably going to take a ton of patience and persistence on your part, but don't forget that we're all here to help if need be - just ask! BTW, good work on this; I'm excited to see what's been found about Lucie... :discuss:

Or I guess you can call here in Troy Ohio....If anyone recognizes or has any information in regards to Jane Doe’s identity, they are asked to call Detective Steve Hickey with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office at (937) 440-3965, Ext. 6629, or the Miami County Communication Center at (937) 440-9911.

The good news is that they both have DNA available, which is rare for a Canadian mp, I've found. Canada will only take a DNA sample if there is a possibility of a match to a set of remains, last I'd heard.

if both there dna is available wouldn't it automatically be run
for example I'm in the UK, my country is England but Scotland is a different country but the dna system and policing systems are all linked together?

Our systems are not linked with Canada, last I knew. They treat their missing persons and unidentified remains cases a lot differently than we do. So, whether or not they were already compared would depend on who holds both DNA profiles.

Sure - I could call them and see at least if they have someone working on MP cases. That would be a good start. I'll also catch up on the rest of this thread going forward. Give me until mid morning - I'll warm up my French in the meantime : )

Thank you. No rush. I've just found it difficult to get investigators on both sides of the border to coordinate. It seems sometimes that the tips get brushed off as not probable just because it's over one side of the border or other, as if it's not possible for a Canadian missing person to be found here, and vice versa.
I have family who live in a border town in my state, and they go to Canada all the time to go out to eat and see movies. It also used to be easier to go back and forth before passports were required. I hate to see cases ruled out because where they were found doesn't pass investigators smell test.

I'm just doing a little preparation before cold-calling the Trois-Rivieres police. I see on NAMPN that Lucie had a scar on her abdomen from liver surgery. All descriptions I find of BG have several scars mentioned, but not this one. As a plus, though, Doe Network's description of BG has "a light brown raised nevus (mole) below and slightly to the medial aspect of the right breast" as someone mentioned a mole in the thread above on Lucie:

I see the NAMPN contact, but I realize someone else did on the thread. Please let me know if someone else is calling them - I don't want to be a second person calling.

Thanks : )

I'm currently speaking to a namus organiser who is in contact with the Detective dealing with the case.
Im awaiting a call from him at the moment
I'm so glad that it's being treated.
I thought it would of taken longer

can you inform him that samantha o'shea (myself) has spoken to Dr Elizabeth Murray who has more details off myself about the cases and how I came up with this lead
Thank you so much for your help and supporting my findings.

Sounds like this is rolling along and may not need me to assist : )

Just to clarify - is it the Detective in Trois-Rivieres (on Lucie's case) that you are talking about, or is the Namus coordinator in contact with the Detective on BG's case in Ohio ? And is Dr Murray with Namus or with the LE's team in Ohio ?
