I don't want to be mean but if he's collecting evidence, he's a little sloppy about it. IMO, if that were "real evidence" wouldn't he mark it, take a pic then remove and label? IMO

So he was in prison for 8 years, ran a tree trimming business, and can afford 2 homes, one of them a 5 bedroom home on Apple Valley Road. Guessing the burglar gig was paying more than tree trimming.

He bought the one on Columbus last year for 38,000 so I am thinking it's not a palace for that price. JMO

I am guessing it's nothing serious, or crime scene tape wouldn't be removed so quickly.

I agree. And there were several photos taken and then he put on gloves , went in, loaded a few bags and set them out now he's loading them into trucks. No taking pics of individual items, no labeling, etc.

No it's not, lots of old big houses in that area, many are dilapidated, not a real nice neighborhood.

Darn I just got here and have to leave. I THINK I know what's going on.

I wondered if they were going to check that pit area, since someone yesterday said he'd go there regularly, recently.

Anyway, I just want to comment, this guy is creeping me out. First we find out he held this child for days and the other 3 are still missing.

Then we find out this guy had served time for arson.

Now, we find out he's known by neighbors to be cruel to animals.

Ehhh......I hate to say this but, arson and cruelty to animals are two common traits of many serial killers.

I have to run out for an hour, take grandson to school. bbl

Prayers for the family and friends of all the victims of this crime.

I saw the guy fill several bags with mostly leafs. Also some dirt or something else I think. Maybe it was a suspicious spot that they are going to need to test the soil and leafs. JMO.

Yeah. Really sad to see it, because this community is really, really supportive. Anything I see related to the thought of them being gone is cast away and replaced with prayer. Super strong people.

you know, it did cross my mind that this 'crime scene' could be a decoy while LE checks another site w/o choppers flying around....but there sure seems to have been a lot of LEO there earlier.

I couldn't tell if it was all Mt. Vernon LE or mix of PD & KCSO.
