I would venture to believe that the college may of likely been a regular spot for MH in the past year or more.
He was a voyeur, watching neighbors from the trees, etc….
He was probably very familiar with that area. Stalking there as well. And may have been able to return home fairly quickly. Probably a comfortable spot for him, that’s why he returned, and was found there when Tina's truck was located. He felt as if he blended in there.

The mystery of how the truck got moved makes me think of those river crossing puzzles...e.g., the mom & dad w/ 2 kids & a small boat that only holds 2 people, or the one w/ the man & the animals he needs to get across the river.

Those riddles are solvable -- but the solution is drawn out & time consuming....I'm trying to think of any similar crime where the perp took so much time w/ concealing the victims.

Part of me wants to think that maybe it's not all that complicated because of the risk of getting caught...and part of me thinks that this crime is like some twisted game that MH played for the thrill of it...his ultiimate fantasy...his last hoorah.

Unfortunately the terrain here makes it very difficult, not knowing which direction(s) he took, how long he took, the whole timeline mystery. And he had time to dispose of things or do things, since he wasn't caught until Sunday am.

That's it! I knew it reminded me of something.

Speaking of vehicles, I have the week off and one of the things I have to do is take the car into to the shop to have some work done on it.

If anyone remembers, what prompted LE to find that truck in the 1st place, was that someone reported a gunshot in the area.
Where did you hear this, and do you have a link to the info?

It’s difficult at best for a normal person to get inside the mind of a psychopathic killer.
Normal people don’t think the same way. And the reasons, motives, and actions of a full blown psychopath, are to much to wrap your mind around. Unless they eventually come fourth and tell or explain, what their reasoning is, it’s entirely possible we couldn’t even get ideas like that into our imagination! (Thank God)

I just hope they will find these poor people today, as far as MH? We may never know, no one might ever know.
This wing nut is fairly slick though. That is becoming obvious.
Hopefully LE has a TON of info by now.

could he have transported a bicycle in the bed of the truck and then rode home on that?
did kody maynard have a bike? most 11 yr. olds do...

I have thought that all along. There has been no mention of a bicycle? But then again lots of people have bicycles at their homes, and it may not seem important.

If he did not do this in a vehicle though, it seems everything would be close if he did it by foot.
However his home is 10 miles from Tinas, so there were vehicles involved somewhere, and there had to have been some kind of evidence in them.
He could of driven the evidence a long ways away. He had 5 days or atleast 4

I guess if he went hunting or shooting then his neighbours may of seen him with a gun.

Someone from search party that found items last night is on FB saying it was definitely not a blue sweatshirt - it was blue sweatpants... that she was there & knows for sure, but media was not there and are reporting it wrong. I know, FB is not reliable either... but it sounds like it may be another case of poor reporting.

ETA - OK, not sure what to think... I think the FB poster may be the same woman interviewed by 10TV in that video, and there she clearly says it was a sweatshirt - what the heck???

Sheriff Barber said so in one of the early press conferences.

I have followed this from the first tweet about the college lockdown on Thursday and I have never heard this or read this in an article.

Do you have a link?

i dont recall ever hearing about a gunshot either - but i have followed too from last wed. morning... if it was said in a presser, the only one that i missed live was yesterday... is it hunting season there right now? or last week?

If it's sweatpants, Tina wore dark colored sweatpants.

I have not heard of a press conference for today but I suppose we'll find out soon enough.
