I saw the sad news about 2 hours ago and had to take a break. It doesn't matter how many cases we read here on WS, when they finally locate the victims, like today, it is the same heartbreak. Because until the missing is actually found, you still have HOPE.

I finally get here in time for a presser and now they delay it. Hopefully they have it before I have to leave.

Prayers for the families and friends. This poor girl, I can't even imagine how she feels.

I just can’t get over poor little Sarah, I hope her family is strong, and supporting, and able to hold her together. Only 13, can you imagine. Poor child, I feel so sorry for her.

I wonder if psyco Hoffman cracked or if searchers found the family.

I hope they fry this nightmare of a human.

Sheriff's office is at 11540 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mt. Vernon, Oh

It's 1/2 way between crime scene and perps house. Not far from Kenyon.

frankly, with this idiot...he could have been going after the dog....we've got reports he would kill dogs.....maybe he was inside the house when the kids came home....maybe he panicked.....I don't care if he had a girlfriend or little boys liked him....I predict we'll find out he is mentally challenged and borderline insane....throw in evil and this is what you get....

I am so disgusted with the human race....killing a little boy.....torturing a little girl....these are acts of true evil....
