Olan Mills photos should have a number on the back if this is correct:

It would seem that if the number on the back is there that someone could figure out the studio and the date that the photo was taken.

One comment..altough her gray hair was dyed....it doesnt mean she was elderly...for example Loretta Swit on 11 years on MASH was only in her 30's yet over the years her blond hair went silver.....it is a bit suprizing that although Jane Doe had a injured arm in a sling...which would preahps made her conspicious...yet no one in Butler County at least recognized that she been treated ....prehaps she had treatment in another state....
