Yes, or just left the hospital/ER. We'd sometimes have patients come in and leave wearing the hospital clothes because theirs were very dirty and they just took them in a plastic patient belongings bag along with the rest of their things when they were discharged. Sometimes they'd be excited to have these "extra" clothes.

If he took off against medical advice he'd probably still have the admission ID bracelet on if he still had the pants. The pants are not of the best quality.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WOIO) - Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Franklin County Coroner Dr. Anahi Ortiz are seeking assistance to identify a man who was found dead on April 28.

The body was discovered in a parking lot of 3800 West Broad St. in Columbus.

“This man is someone’s son, friend and neighbor and we are counting on the public to help us identify him so he can be laid to rest with the respect and honor he deserves,” Yost said in a prepared statement.

"Through collaboration with experts from the Ohio Attorney General's office, the post-mortem photo has been released in an attempt to provide a name to this man," Dr. Ortiz said. "My hope is that by releasing this photo, we can provide closure to the family and friends of this man. As coroner, I take seriously our duty to serve the community of Franklin County and speak for those who cannot."

Gary Alan went missing in 2011 after jumping into a creek while running from a police officer. His description matches up within a couple of inches and 10 pounds. He has a tattoo (unknown) on his left arm but also a scar on right hand. There's no mention of a scar on his back but the injury could have happened after he went missing, I suppose. The big question is did he survive the creek fall and live in the area an additional 8 years? Mansfield and Columbus, OH is about an hour driving distance.

Gary looks like a great possibility to me. He does have a blemish on his left cheek but it may have just been temporary. Otherwise, he seems like a good prospect.

I saw the blemish on Gary's face and once I zoomed in on UID's pic I noticed a faint mark in the same area of his face. Note also the pic of JD has been edited for publicity.

So he wasn’t wearing a shirt? You’d think people would remember seeing a 5’10, 182 pounds shirtless man walking around. Though I guess it’s possible he had a shirt and got rid of it at some point. Do they say anything about a cause of death?

Best possibilities I could find after a quick search:

1) Paul Allen Brady (namus)

- Went missing in Ohio on April 25th 2019 (about a 3-4h ride from where the mp was found)
- 61 years old, 5’10, 165 pounds (he ran away from an Adult Foster Care home so I suppose his weight could just be the weight they have on file and not necessarily the most recent weighing)
- He possibly left without wearing a coat or shoes
- No mention of a tattoo
- Brown hair and blue eyes

2) Stephen Mark Millis (namus)

- disappeared January 4th 2019 in Michigan
- went missing with his car/motorcycle (?)
- 49 years old, 5’9, 170 pounds
- Brown hair, blue eyes
- not a lot of information on his disappearance, no mention of tattoos

The only patients we give paper scrubs to are the mentally ill who are on psych holds and/or someone who discharges without wearable clothing which is extremely rare. This includes the homeless. I know this information is late but I wanted to provide it as a information in future cases.
