AKRON, Ohio (Court TV) — An Ohio man accused of kidnapping a woman and holding her captive for days in a garage pleaded guilty moments before jury selection was set to begin in his trial.


On Tuesday, Mozingo pleaded guilty to the charges, including an escape charge in another case. Judge Susan Baker Ross sentenced him to 25 to 31 and a half years in prison.

More news and video of the crime and trial. He said he took a plea deal to prevent her having to testify. Victim has a traumatic brain injury that will be with her for life.
